Week 10 brings in some interesting questions for my RB rankings. Will James Conner keep losing red zone touches? Is Kareem Hunt going to keep getting touches when Isaiah Pacheco eventually comes back? And lastly, should I trade Jonathan Taylor? All these will be answered in this week’s rankings.

Running Back Notes
- Let’s start with Jonathan Taylor as my RB11 this week against the Colts. Taylor had a terrible game last week, but that was because Joe Flacco could not get the offense moving. But, that is the question. Both Flacco and Anthony Richardson have both had their problems this season. Even with them being inconsistent, Taylor has shown up this season. Last week was the first time Taylor scored under 10 fantasy points. In six games he is averaging 15.8 fantasy points per game. This week he has the Bills who are giving up the second most fantasy points per game to RBs in 26.5. Taylor will get it going again and it is a must-start this week.
- Next, let’s talk about Kareem Hunt. He has been nothing but good since he got the starting role again. He is averaging 16 fantasy points per game in five games. Now the question is, will Hunt lose touches when Pacheco comes back in Week 14 or 15? The answer is yes, but not by much. The Chiefs are 8-0 and could easily be 13-1 when Pacheco comes back. So, if they are winning, I don’t expect Hunt to go straight to the bench. I do think it will be an even split of carries come Week 17. Going back to this week, Hunt is my RB12 and is a must-start against the Broncos. Hunt is averaging 22.2 carries per game and has five touchdowns in five games.
- Next, we have Conner as my RB15. Conner does have a tough matchup with the Jets this week. The Jets are only allowing 18.6 fantasy points per game to RBs. I know you might get nervous that Conner is losing touches to Trey Benson and Emari Demercado but I wouldn’t be too worried. Benson and Demercado both score. Benson did snag a goal-line touchdown from Conner, but Conner had seven red zone carries to Benson’s one. As for Demercado, he broke a 53-yard run. Conner still had 18 carries for 107 yards. All he was missing was a touchdown.
