Wide Receiver Notes:

  • Let’s start with Malik Nabers as my WR10 going against the Washington Commanders. The Commanders are giving up the fifth most fantasy points per game to wide receivers in 33.1. Nabers finally had his breakout game of the season, going for 112 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. This was all against the Cardinals, who are giving up the fourth most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. This is an ideal matchup for Nabers.
  • Next, I have Carnell Tate going against the Texans this week. Normally I’d say do not start a rookie against the Texans defense, but the Texans are giving up the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers in 37.1. As far as the run game, the Texans have been above average in only giving up 15.4 fantasy points to RBs. So, this will have to be a game won through the air for the Titans. Tate had nine receptions for 145 yards against the Ravens last week.
  • Lastly, I have Marvin Harrison Jr. as my WR43 going against the Lions. By the way the season has been going, I would say this would be an easy start against the Lions, but at the moment Harrison is not startable. His biggest week of the season was last week, as he put up 7.7 fantasy points on 12 yards and a touchdown. He only has five receptions for 85 yards on the season. He is fourth in targets on the team behind Trey McBride (46), Michael Wilson (44), Kendrick Bourne (14), and Harrison (13).
