Fantasy Football 2026: Week 8 Wide Receiver Rankings

Week 8 is here, and my wide receiver rankings will be your key to checking one more win off the list. Luckily, last week brought no significant injuries to the wide receiver room. However, we will miss Nico Collins, Malik Nabers, and Chris Olave due to their bye weeks. But don’t fret, as we have some players who can save your week, like Omar Cooper Jr. and Tre Tucker.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start with Cooper as my WR22 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Cooper has been impressive in his last two games, totaling two touchdowns, 218 receiving yards, and 11 receptions. He also has 12 targets. He has a great matchup this week against the Raiders, who are giving up 26.6 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. The Raiders started off hot but have since cooled down.
  • Next, I have Zay Flowers as my WR5 against the Bills. This might be the first time I’ve ever had Flowers in my top five, but he sure does deserve it. Since Week 4, he is averaging 10.2 targets per game. He is also averaging 114.5 receiving yards in that span. Most of these games have also come without Lamar Jackson. This matchup is especially nice for Flowers, as the Bills are giving up 35.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. That is the most in the league.
  • Lastly, I have Jaylen Waddle as my WR38 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Waddle is pretty much droppable at this point, as he is averaging just 7.27 fantasy points per game this season. On top of that, the Chiefs are the second-toughest defense against fantasy wide receivers, giving up just 18.7 points per game. Waddle has scored in double digits only twice this year, and I don’t expect him to score more than 10 points this week.
