We’re officially through 3 weeks of the NFL season, and dynasty values are beginning to take shape. What looked like a small sample size after Week 1 is starting to turn into legitimate trends. Breakout performances are gaining credibility, slow starts are becoming more concerning, and changing roles are forcing dynasty managers to reevaluate how they value certain players.
That’s what our Dynasty Fantasy Football Market Changes series is all about. Each week, we take a closer look at players whose dynasty stock is trending up or down and determine what’s behind the movement. Is a breakout here to stay, or has a player’s value climbed high enough to consider selling? For those trending in the wrong direction, is it time to be concerned, or has a buy-low window opened?
Heading into Week 4, we’re breaking down 6 players whose dynasty outlook has shifted through the first 3 weeks of the season and what fantasy managers should consider doing next.

Dynasty Football Market Risers & Fallers: Week 4
Trending Upward
Juwan Johnson | TE
Like it or not, Juwan Johnson is on the rise in 2026. Through the first three games, Johnson is currently the TE3, trailing only Trey McBride and Travis Kelce. While his fantasy production looks elite, the advanced numbers tell a different story, as Johnson ranks just 17th among tight ends in target share and 38th in targets per route run. His production has been strong, but his underlying usage suggests he’s performing more like an average tight end than someone with consistent top-five upside.
Before the season, Johnson was viewed as a veteran TE2 who could provide depth but wasn’t someone dynasty managers were actively trying to acquire. His hot start has increased his value, making this a great opportunity to sell high for future draft capital or use him to upgrade another position. Jordyn Tyson will eventually return and command targets, which could further hurt Johnson’s already modest 13% target share. Dynasty is all about recognizing when to capitalize on a player’s rising value, and Johnson looks like the perfect player to do that with right now.
Tyler Shough | QB
Staying with the Saints, Tyler Shough is another player trending upward in fantasy. While his name value may not fully translate to the trade market yet, it should if he continues playing this well. Shough is currently the QB3 on the season with at least 22 fantasy points in each of his first 3 games. New Orleans needs his arm to stay competitive with an inefficient running game, Travis Etienne sidelined for an extended period, and a defense ranked 20th. Shough has also performed well individually, ranking inside the top 10 in both CPOE and adjusted completion percentage.
Another boost to Shough’s value is Kellen Moore’s offense averaging 74 plays per game, five more than the next-closest team. Shough is also averaging 20 rushing yards per game, adding another element to his fantasy ceiling. Rebuilding teams could look to package him for an injured younger quarterback with more long-term value, while QB-rich teams could use Shough to upgrade another position. Whether you keep or trade him, Shough is playing at a high level and deserves more respect in fantasy right now.
Bhayshul Tuten | RBÂ
Bhayshul Tuten has quietly been trending upward in fantasy football. He isn’t blowing managers away with his fantasy production, but he has produced at least 60 rushing yards in each of his first three games. More importantly, the gap between Tuten and Chris Rodriguez has grown over the last two weeks, with Tuten beginning to see workhorse-level touches. He also ranks inside the top 15 among running backs in missed tackles forced and yards after contact, showing that he’s making the most of his opportunities.
Tuten is also attached to a strong Jaguars offense that has scored 30-plus points in two of its first three games. He was a major mystery entering the season because fantasy managers weren’t sure what his role would look like, but he’s quickly proving he belongs. As Tuten continues to see a larger workload and gets more favorable matchups, his production should have opportunities to improve. His dynasty value is already trending upward, and another strong performance could push it even higher.

Trending Downward
Emeka Egbuka | WR
Emeka Egbuka has been trending downward in the dynasty market to start the 2026 season. He is currently WR31 and has yet to produce more than 10 fantasy points in a game in half-PPR formats. Things could get even tougher with Baker Mayfield expected to miss the next three games, and Jalon Daniels set to start. While Egbuka is still seeing a solid 20% target share, the Buccaneers simply aren’t throwing enough for him to consistently produce. His 0.21 targets per route run and 1.48 YPRR also show that he hasn’t been nearly as efficient as he was last season.
Egbuka is clearly underperforming compared to expectations, but there are reasons to believe better days are ahead. His expected fantasy points sit around 11.6 per game, suggesting his current production doesn’t completely match his opportunity. For rebuilding teams or managers who still believe in Egbuka’s long-term talent, this creates a legitimate buy-low window because he’s much more obtainable than he was a few months ago. He may not deliver the elite 2026 season many expected, especially with how the Buccaneers offense is performing, but his declining value could create an opportunity for dynasty managers willing to be patient.
Drake Maye | QB
Do you want a young franchise quarterback for your dynasty roster? Drake Maye may be more obtainable right now than he’s been in a long time. Maye currently sits at QB31 in total fantasy points, and some dynasty managers may look at that production and start to panic. However, the underlying numbers remain encouraging. Maye has a 6.7 Completion Percentage Over Expectation and a 79.2 adjusted completion percentage, showing that he’s still playing efficient football despite the lack of fantasy production.
Unfortunately, the Patriots offense simply isn’t thriving around him. Maye is working with an average receiving corps, an aging Hunter Henry, and a running game that hasn’t been efficient. He may not live up to his lofty 2026 expectations, but he’s still showing signs of being a good real-life quarterback even if it hasn’t translated to fantasy. If you’re rebuilding and have a quarterback currently outperforming expectations, consider using that player to pursue Maye while his dynasty value is falling. His market could get worse before it gets better, but that makes this an intriguing opportunity to buy a talented young quarterback at a discount.
Jadarian Price | RB
Former first-round running back Jadarian Price hasn’t had a great start to his rookie season. Back-to-back fumbles immediately stand out, and ball-security issues are never something you want to see from a rookie running back. Fantasy managers tend to panic once we get past Week 3, and Price is becoming one of those players. Zach Charbonnet potentially returning from the PUP after four weeks only adds to the concern, especially since Charbonnet has already shown he can handle a significant role for Seattle.
His dynasty value is dropping because of the fumbles and Charbonnet’s potential return, not because he has been ineffective as a runner. Price currently has a 0.25 MTF/ATT and 2.71 YACO/ATT, showing his ability to run aggressively, break tackles, and create yards after contact. Contending managers may prefer the immediate production of veterans like Chuba Hubbard or Kyren Williams, potentially allowing you to trade one for Price plus another asset. If you’re rebuilding, take advantage of a frustrated manager focusing on the early mistakes rather than Price’s long-term upside.
