Week 10 Dynasty Football Trade Suggestions

Week 10 of the NFL season starts tonight, and even though we are just about a month away from the fantasy football playoffs, there is still plenty of time to make dynasty trades. At this point in the season, it is clear who has a chance to make the playoffs and who should set their sights on 2026. Below are dynasty trades that both contenders and rebuilders should try to make before Week 10 starts.

Dynasty Trades to Make Before Week 10

Contenders

Prioritize Veterans

I have said this once before and will repeat it as the middle ground in dynasty trades will likely be met soon between rebuilders and contenders. Rebuilders do not want to enter the offseason with old players on their teams, especially those who pose the threat of potentially retiring. Travis Kelce is one of the big names. If you need tight end help, I would part with a third-round pick to get some points at the position.

Davante Adams is someone I have mentioned before. It may be harder with Nacua’s injury, even though it is not serious. However, Adams is one of Stafford’s favorite red-zone targets. He leads all wide receivers with 20 targets inside the 20-yard line, six more than any other receiver. A second-round pick plus a potential prospect tier player would be an ideal trade package. It is getting closer to the time when rebuilders may start to panic about the guys on their roster. So, contenders, keep the course, look for substantial additions to the squad at a reasonable cost, and keep going on that playoff run.

Trade For Travis Hunter

Another dynasty trade window has opened for Travis Hunter. After the star receiver had 14 targets in what seemed like a breakout game against the Rams, Hunter suffered a non-contact knee injury in practice the week after. Thankfully, there was no damage to the ACL, and today, a report indicated that he will not be out for long. He is on injured reserve and will miss the next three games. However, it is not known to what extent beyond those three games. This injury could not have come at a worse time. Hunter was starting to turn a corner on offense, playing 87% of snaps on offense. It was an encouraging sign that he produced so prominently when his sole focus was offense.

However, the team just added Jakobi Meyers at the trade deadline, and Parker Washington has been heavily involved in the offense these past two games. So, it may be tough for Hunter to find a role on offense when he returns. And while that usually comes down to a talent issue, it is not here. It is a fact that he could be featured more heavily on defense instead. That uncertainty could cause fantasy managers to panic. I would offer a late first-round pick for Hunter as my initial offer, then add a second-round pick if necessary. That should be enough for the Hunter manager to make a move. Hunter has an elite ceiling at receiver, and for that package, I would take the risk.

Inquire about Jayden Daniels

Daniels suffered a season-ending injury on a scramble late Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks. I mentioned Daniels in last week’s edition of this article. He was having quite a down year for his lofty standards. And I suggested a dynasty trades with a package valued at anything less than three firsts. I will echo that sentiment, especially if it is a contender who needs a quarterback. I wish Jayden Daniels the best in his recovery, and I am confident that he will rebound because he is one of those rare talents. Dynasty managers should try to send two first-round picks and a promising young player, such as Jaylin Noel or Jayden Higgins, and see if that’s enough to get it done. Daniels is still a tier one quarterback. So, it will not be easy to pry him away from these teams, but it is worth checking in on contenders who have him on their rosters.

Final Thoughts

The dynasty trade market is constantly changing. Each league has its own economy. No two leagues value picks the same way. So there are always different approaches to be taken in these various leagues. Knowing your league mates is one of the most valuable parts of dynasty trades. Their philosophy and prior takes matter when trying to make a trade. So you will find varying success going out and trying to acquire someone like Travis Hunter or even Jayden Daniels. That is one of the many parts that make dynasty trades and leagues so much fun.
