Week 10 is here! We are past the halfway point, bye weeks are brutal, and every lineup decision feels a little more critical. Week 9 gave us plenty to chew on, some breakout stars, a few disappointments, and the usual dose of chaos that makes this game so much fun.
Here are five things we learned from Week 9:
- Drake London officially broke out for this season with three touchdowns.
- Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued to show incredible chemistry, with Tory Horton emerging as a dangerous deep threat.
- Not everyone delivered; Alvin Kamara is still struggling to find his footing.
- Injuries to players like Ollie Gordon II threw teams like the Dolphins off balance.
- The Seahawks’ passing attack is so good right now that their run game has become an afterthought.
Let’s apply what we’ve learned and put it into practice. Welcome to Money Makers and Heart Breakers, where we find the players ready to fatten your fantasy wallet and the ones that might break your heart.
Now let’s get to it — here are this week’s Money Makers and Heart Breakers.

Money Makers and Heart Breakers for Week 10 NFL DFS
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
💰 Money Makers
Quarterbacks
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
Dart has had multiple touchdowns in each and every game he has played this season. He is pretty much a must-start in season-long now. He does his damage both through the air and with his legs. In Week 10, he gets to play a Bears defense that gives up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Jaxson is a great Dart throw in Week 10..

Jarod Goff, Detroit Lions
Goff seems to have massive games here and there, where he throws for a lot of touchdowns. In Week 10, he is playing against a Commanders team that gives up the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Commanders have given up over 260 yards and three or more touchdowns in each of the last three games to quarterbacks. This is set up to be a big game for Goff.

Davis Mills, Houston Texans
Seriously, Davis Mills? Â Yes, I am serious. I would have been all in on CJ Stroud this week. The Texans are playing the Jaguars in Week 10. The Jaguars have given up 9 passing touchdowns over their last two games. NINE! They have given up over 27 fantasy points to quarterbacks in three of their previous four games played. Mills has a shot to produce big in Week 10

Running Backs
D’Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
I know people are going crazy because Kyle Monangai produced big with Swift out last week. The Bears will play the Giants in Week 10. The Giants give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. In the past two games, each opponent has had two running backs reach double-digit fantasy scores against the Giants. You may want to consider adding Monangai to lineups, too!
$6,100 on DraftKings
$7,100 on FanDuel
De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
No one needs me to tell them to play Achane. He is always a solid play. In Week 3 against the Bills, Achane had 91 total yards, consisting of 62 yards rushing and seven receptions for 29 additional yards. The Bills do not defend running backs well. Achane gets lots of touches. It’s easy to pick up what I am putting down. This is a high-floor and high-ceiling type of week for De’Von Achane.

$8,500 on FanDuel
Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
Studkins will get one of the easiest matchups he has seen this season in Week 10, playing against a Jets team that gives up the eighth most fantasy points to running backs. There isn’t a lot to get excited about with the Browns other than Quinshon Studkins, who just churns out double-digit fantasy days. It should be a nice game for him to run all over the Jets.

Wide Receivers
Deebo Samuel, Washington Commanders
The Commanders will play the Lions in Week 10. The Lions give up the eighth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Deebo has not been great as of late. The Commanders do not expect Terry McLaurin to play, and Luke McCaffrey is already ruled out. We also have a backup playing quarterback. SO why would I say play Deebo? He is essentially all that is left. Hop on that bike, Deebo, and go snatch some chains like it is Friday all over again.

Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants
Robinson leads the Giants in targets, receptions, and receiving yards this season. He has a 24% target share of all Giants passes. In Week 10, he gets to play against a Bears defense that gives up the second-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ wide receivers. The volume will be there; the opponent stinks on defense. This smells like a big day for both teams’ passing attacks.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
Last week, the Seahawks had three wide receivers score double-digit fantasy points against this Commanders defense that St. Brown will face in Week 10. This matchup is nice. The Sun God leads the Lions in target share, with 31% of the pass attempts being thrown to him. He also leads the Lions in catches (59), receiving yards (635), and receiving touchdowns (7). Break out your sunglasses, put on your sunscreen, because the Sun God is going to shine. (I am so happy I got to say that this season)

Tight Ends
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Patriots do not defend the tight end well. I could have written about Trey McBride here, but I don’t think you need me to explain why you could play him. Otton has seen five or more targets in each of the past four games. The opportunity will be there for him against a defense that struggles against tight ends.
$3,900 on DraftKings
$5,400 on FanDuel
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Kincaid is leading the Bills in most receiving statistical categories in 2025. He has the most receiving yards with 411. He has the most receiving touchdowns with four. In Week 10, he plays against a Dolphins defense that gives up the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends. The Dolphins actually defend wide receivers well, so this sets up nicely for Kincaid to be the primary receiver in Week 10 for the Bills.

DEF
Detroit Lions
The Commanders are struggling on offense. Injuries and age have really taken a toll on this team. In the last four games, every defense has scored nine or more fantasy points against the Commanders. Teams averaged 10.75 fantasy points over that stretch. They have given up 13 sacks over that stretch. We can expect the Lions to pressure the quarterback and for the Commanders to struggle to score points in Week 10.
$3,400 on DraftKings
$4,100 on FanDuel
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers will play the Saints in Week 10. The Saints give up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. The Saints primarily do it through turnovers, such as interceptions and fumble recoveries. Look for the Panthers to capitalize in Week 10.
$3,500 on DraftKings
$3,600 on FanDuel
Cleveland Browns
We have a Browns team coming off a bye week, playing a Jets team that has traded away several players. The Jets have little to play for in 2025. The Jets already gave up the seventh most fantasy points to defenses before this. A good real-life defense gets to play a team of unhappy players that is looking to tank. Sign me up. Go Browns!

💔Heart Breakers
Quarter Backs
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence hasn’t been excellent in 2025. So everyone reading this is clearly calling me Captain Obvious. But, just in case you thought things would get better after the Jaguars traded for Jakobi Meyers, I am here to tell you it isn’t in Week 10. The Texans are up in Week 10. The Texans’ defense gives up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. The thought of playing Lawrence has made me throw up in my mouth.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tua seems to surprise us here and there with great games when we least expect it. I clearly do not expect a great in play in Week 10. The Bills, who give up the second fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks, are the opponent. Hawk Tua! Remember the Hawk Tua girl, fame is often fleeting, isn’t it?
Gino Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Last week, Geno was a Money Maker, and he produced big time. This week, he is a Heart Breaker, and you can expect him to give you a floor game. For him, a floor game is like a basement game. The Raiders face a tough Broncos pass defense, and Geno is really matchup-dependent.
Running Backs
Breece Hall, New York Jets
The Jets play the Browns in Week 10. The Browns give up the second-fewest amount of fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. Hall was asked to get traded before the deadline multiple times. He also had a lot of posts on X watching his teammates live his dream of being traded away. Zero incentive for him to produce against a tough defense. The Browns are super hard to run on. Breece keeps trying to join the kids down the hall.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt
I was never really in on him, and this week he plays against a Lions defense that gives up the third fewest fantasy points to running backs. Bill, Jacory, or whatever you want to call him, isn’t producing in fantasy football. He has not scored more than five fantasy points in the past four games. His new nickname should be “Little Bill”.
Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Patriots’ defense is good. The Patriots are tough against the run. The Buccaneers get to play the Patriots in Week 10. White has struggled against formidable defenses. Look for Baker Mayfield to be throwing the ball a lot. Maybe White can be involved in the passing game to save his day.
Wide Receivers
Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders will play the Broncos in Week 10. The Broncos’ defense is good against the pass. If you read this far, then you know I think Geno stinks this week. The ripple effect here is more for Tucker than, say, the tight ends. Look for the Raiders to play a lot of two tight ends in Week 10.
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills
The Dolphins give up the second fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. I am out on all Bills wide receivers in Week 10. Coleman is someone no one should be playing anyway. I needed something easy to write about.
Jacksonville Jaguars Wide Receivers
Insert the name of the Jaguars’ wide receiver here: ______. The Texans are up in Week 10, and they give up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. I am only trusting any Jaguars receiver where I have no other option.
Tight Ends
Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts play the Falcons in Week 10. The Falcons give up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends. That means this is a floor game for Warren. You are playing him where you have him. I am avoiding him in DFS.
Greg Dulcich, Miami Dolphins
I am really taking this opportunity to tell you Dulcich was really good last week. He saw five targets and turned that into five receptions and 49 yards. If you are paying attention like I am, you might think that makes him a sneaky play against the Bills this week. Well, the Bills give up the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. He may be in the Weekend Waiver article, but do not play him this week.
