Even when you grab who seem to be the best players on the EPL waiver wire, the games don’t always work out like you think.
Last week was one of those weekends. Arsenal lost. Manchester City lost. Southampton won (finally). Stats and matchups only get you so far. The games have to be played. That’s what makes it fun (usually).
Week 11 EPL Waiver wire suggestions (under 50% rostered) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Week 11 Fantasy EPL Draft Waiver Wire
Konstantinos Tsimikas – Defender – 39% Rostered -Liverpool vs Aston Villa
When Tsimikas plays, which he has been, he’s capable of big scores. He started last weekend in the EPL and in the Champions League. Andrew Robertson had claimed the left back role with seven of eight starts, so you can’t assume that Tsmikikas to start. But he’s a good player to grab on the EPL waiver wire, even if he not a week in and week out starter, due to his high up side and Liverpool’s overall strong team and defense.
Evanilson – Forward – 38% Rostered – Brentford vs Bournemouth
The big signing has now scored in back to back games, and against quality competition. We’ve seen moments from Evanilson but nothing consistent yet. Could these be the spark he needs to keep the confidence that strikers thrive on? Opponents, Brentford, have conceded the third most amount of goals in the EPL with 20 and have yet to keep a clean sheet. If you’re looking for a forward on the EPL waiver wire, Evanilson should be hight on your list.
Vitaly Janelt- Midfielder – 25% Rostered – Brentford vs Bournemouth
Janelt has a goal and two assist over his last four games. They’ve had good matchups over those set of games, and the Bees will continue with solid fixtures for the next three as well. He’s a hot hand, which is why he’s worth considering, but he generally needs a goal or assist for big points.
Nelson Semedo – Defender – 23% Rostered – Wolves vs Southampton
Semedo and Wolves have had a rough start to the season, but they’ve also had the toughest schedule in the EPL. That’s about to change. They now have one of best set of upcoming games. Semedo has two assists on the season, and even when Wolves concede he’s scoring positive, and often double digit, points. I’m keeping an eye on Wolves players on the EPL waiver wire.
Good luck!
