Here I am back again, trying to help you win in season-long and DFS. I like my little list of five things we learned last week. Please let me know if this helps.
5 Things We Learned from Week 10 And Where the Value Lies for Week 11
- The Commanders Are a Matchup Gift: Their offense is collapsing, making every opposing unit a high-floor fantasy play. Load up on Dolphins in season-long this week and stream DSTs against them.
- Alec Pierce Is Emerging: Heavy snaps and WR1-level targets mean he’s still undervalued in redraft and DFS. He is looking good for the rest of the season.
- Tight Ends Are Heating Up: Otton, Schultz, Theo Johnson, and Juwan Johnson all delivered. Week 11 is the perfect time to fix your TE spot with still-under-rostered options.
- Backfields Are Shifting Fast: Allgeier, Demercado, and Brian Robinson flashed real value. With byes ending, handcuffs and TD vultures become premium adds.
- Veteran QBs Still Have Streamer Value: Brissett and Mariota both produced again. They’re viable Week 11 streamers and cheap DFS salary savers.
Now let’s get to it — here are this week’s Money Makers and Heart Breakers.

Money Makers and Heart Breakers for Week 11 NFL DFS
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone who might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
💰 Money Makers
Quarterbacks
Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals
In Week 7, the Bengals played the Steelers, and Joe Flacco passed for 342 yards and three touchdowns. In the last four games, the Steelers have given up over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in three out of four games. The Steelers give up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. The Bengals play the Steelers in Week 11. The over-under on this game is the highest on the main slate at 49 points (take the over). Flacco and Aaron Rodgers are both great plays in this shootout in Week 11.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers will play the Jaguars in Week 11. The Jaguars have given up 12 touchdowns to quarterbacks over the past three games. Even Davis Mills managed over 300 total yards and three touchdowns against this Jaguars defense. Herbert had a lousy fantasy game in Week 10 as the Chargers easily defeated the Steelers. This should provide Herbert with a lovely bounce-back week against pass funnel defense. Herbert will be electric in Week 11.

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
Jacoby Brissett has passed for two touchdowns in every game he has started for the Cardinals this season. That is four straight games and counting. He has made their passing game relevant. The Cardinals play the 49ers in Week 11, and the 49ers give up the 12th most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Brissett to McBride will happen often in Week 11.

Running Backs
Jalen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers’ coaching staff has stated that they want him to get more involved in the offense. That is good news. The Steelers play the Bengals in Week 11. That is also good news because they give up the most fantasy points to running backs. In Week 7, Warren ran for 127 yards and caught four passes for another 31 yards. The coaches aren’t lying this time.

Woody Marks, Houston Texans
The Texans played the Titans in Week 4. You may not remember that far back, so I will tell you what happened. Marks had 21 touches, 119 total yards, and two touchdowns in that game. The Titans you see give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. Mark my words, you will want to have a Woody this weekend.

Rico Dowdle, Carolina Panthers
Since Dowdle has double-digit fantasy points in 5 out of the last six games, he has secured 75% of the snap share moving forward. The Falcons are the opponents for Week 11. They give up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. Running backs average 117 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons weekly. Rico, we love you. You are so suave.

Wide Receivers
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals will play the Steelers in Week 11. The Shower Curtain defense has a bunch of tears in it from the last time these two teams played. Chase had 16 receptions for 161 yards and a touchdown in that game. Yes, I said 16 receptions. Play Tee Higgins, too; he had 96 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 as well. The Steelers, you see, can not defend the pass exceptionally well. They give up the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers

$9,400 on FanDuel
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
I am not a huge JJ McCarthy guy. You might say I think he is bad for fantasy production, and you would be right. But Jefferson has still been effective for the most part with McCarthy at quarterback. Jefferson has double-digit fantasy points in six out of the last seven games. The Bears are up in Week 11, and you can pass on the Bears. I am not overly excited about this, but he shouldn’t stink.

$8,600 on FanDuel
Nico Collins, Houston Texans
Davis Mills to Nico Collins is a real thing. In Week 10, Nico saw 15 targets, which he turned into 7 receptions and 136 yards and a 2-point conversion. He had a massive 33% target share. In Week 11, the Texans will play the Titans. The Titans give up the ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Volume is King, and Nico will be full of the volume he gets in Week 11.

Tight Ends
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers play the Bengals in Week 11. The Bengals happen to give up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ tight ends. In their last three games, five different tight ends have scored touchdowns against the Bengals. In Week 7, Freiermuth had five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns against this same Bengals team. This is the week to play Pat and scream ‘Muth at the TV.
$3,200 on DraftKings
$5,000 on FanDuel
Oronde Gadsden, Los Angeles Chargers
The Jaguars also struggle to defend the tight end effectively. That happens to be who the Chargers are playing in Week 11. Gadsden has seen five or more targets in five straight games. He left last week’s game with an injury that turned out to be a bruise. He has a nice bounce back against this horrible Titans team in Week 11. Oronde Gadsden, that’s fun to say.

Defense
Houston Texans
They play the Titans. Do you need any more information? Ok, here you go. The Titans give up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. They give up a league-leading 4.2 sacks per game. The Texan can get after the quarterback and had five sacks in Week 10. Houston, we have lift off.
$3,700 on DraftKings
$4,800 on FanDuel
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens will play the Browns in Week 11. The Browns give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. Look for the Ravens to get a couple of turn over in this game and keep the Browns from scoring a lot of points (that is not difficult).
$3,800 on DraftKings
$4,500 on FanDuel
Chicago Bears
I do not think the Bears’ defense is excellent. However, in Week 11, the Bears will play the Vikings. The Vikings give up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. For six straight games, a fantasy defense has scored seven or more fantasy points against the Vikings. This is a floor play all the way, and you know if the floor play is good, you might go all the way, wink-wink.

💔Heart Breakers
Quarter Backs
Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
You probably were not even contemplating Cam anyway, but in Week 11, the Titans will play the Texans. The Texans give up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Cam just got sacked in his living room while you were reading this.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
In a season-long, you are playing Mahomes unless you have some option not to. He has been great this season, with the only exception being Week 10. This week, the Chiefs play the Broncos in Denver. The Broncos have a great defense and will be at home. I am avoiding Mahomes in DFS. It would be a steep price to pay for not-so greatness in Week 11.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mayfield has had a magnificent season so far. People have even talked about him being in the running for MVP. In Week 11, the Buccaneers will play the Bills. The Bills give up the third fewest fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. It will be difficult for Baker to get cooking way up north.
Running Backs
Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks will play the Rams in Week 11. The Rams give up the least amount of fantasy points to running backs. If the split with Zach Charbonet wasn’t bad enough. Now he is playing against a team that shuts down the position. Only once have the Rams given up more than 14 fantasy points to a running back this season.
Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
The Browns have defended the run well. They have all season. Cleveland gives up the fourth-fewest amount of fantasy points to running backs. The last time these two teams played, the Browns held Derrick Henry to 23 yards on 11 carries. This just isn’t good for Henry at all.
Tyrone Tracy, New York Giants
Tyrone Tracy has not been good. The Packers’ defense is very good at stopping the run. He is playing the majority of the snaps, but he is in a bad match-up, and I am in all-out avoid mode.
Wide Receivers
Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Let’s face it, in season-long formats, you are playing Rice. In DFS, there is no need to play him at a potential floor game. The Chiefs play the Broncos in Week 11, and the Broncos give up the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Only two wide receivers this season have scored more than 11 fantasy points against the Broncos.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars have a tough match in Week 11 against the Pass. They play the Chargers; the Chargers give up the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. He may have the volume to still produce, but I wouldn’t bet on it in DFS. I do love me some Parker Washington, though.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
Sutton, you make me sick to my stomach. I drafted you in so many redraft leagues, and you let me down. I know you will continue to let down in Week 11, too, because the Chiefs defend the pass well. The least you could do this week is get some nice downfield blocks for RJ Harvey.
Tight Ends
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Otton is one of my personal favorites. When called upon, he produces. This week, though, he gets a Bills defense that shuts tight ends down. They defend the tight end position better than any team in the league. Only one tight end has scored double-digit fantasy points against the Bills this season.
Ja’Tavion Sanders, Carolina Panthers
You weren’t playing him anywhere anyway. But you know, sometimes I like a really easy one. In this case, we have a Falcons defense that defends tight ends exceptionally well on one side. And on the other side, we have a tight end that is not very good. Easy call, even if you can say his name, don’t.
