Now that’s more like it. While we can’t live in the past too much, it’s also important to acknowledge the successes. Last week, all three of our DraftKings prop plays hit, so now it’s time to continue that momentum. Stick with the process and make it two perfect weeks in a row. Let’s jump right into our Week 13 NFL Prop Plays on DraftKings.

Week 13 NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)
Christian McCaffrey Over 40.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
First, let’s set the stage. The San Francisco 49ers are traveling east for an early start against the Cleveland Browns, and things could be difficult for them. Cleveland sports one of the league’s best defenses, ranking second with just 171 passing yards allowed per game. That’s certainly enough to depress any prop plays or performances.
If you need any more confirmation as to the quality of the two defenses, and also the challenges of the offenses, take a look at the over/under set at just 35.5 points. Yeah, there isn’t much offense expected. However, I choose to take a different approach.
If the 49ers are to hit the Browns’ average passing yards allowed, they’ll finish with 171 yards. That’s a far cry from the 249 yards San Francisco is averaging. But that also means it’s a battle of strengths.
As the 49ers reach those 171 yards, at a minimum, it stands to reason that Christian McCaffrey will finish with a chunk of those yards. With 65 receiving yards per game, McCaffrey is accounting for 26% of San Francisco’s yards. When we apply that to the 171 yards Cleveland is allowing, that puts us at 44 yards. That alone covers McCaffrey’s prop play.
Also, when the 49ers offense struggles, the default has been to look to McCaffrey in the passing game. That also puts us in line to hit his prop play at a modest number.
John Metchie Over 3.5 Receptions (-122)
Who had John Metchie, number one receiver, on their bingo cards? Yes, Garrett Wilson is injured, but still, this is proof that you never know what’s going to happen in the NFL.
The trade acquisition of Metchie likely flew under the radar, and it didn’t take him long to find his footing. Now, the switch to Tyrod Taylor at quarterback has led to an improvement in the New York Jets’ passing offense.
Two weeks ago, Metchie had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown before following that up with a strong effort against Baltimore. Last week, Metchie caught six passes for 65 yards and another touchdown.
New York is going to throw the ball to a degree again this week. Taylor is a reliable veteran, and Metchie seemingly has emerged as the number one receiver. So, expecting him to catch at least four passes is a reasonable prop play.

Brock Bowers Over 5.5 Receptions (-127)
At this point, it’s become clear that Brock Bowers is the number one receiving option for the Las Vegas Raiders. In fact, he’s their best chance at any offense regardless. After the Raiders parted ways with Chip Kelly, it makes sense that the Raiders would double down on their best offensive weapon.
Game flow will work in our favor here as the Raiders will likely be taking to the air to try and catch up with the Los Angeles Chargers. On the season, Bowers is averaging 5.6 receptions per game, which puts him right at his prop play.
Overall, it’s been a choppy season for Bowers that’s also been interrupted by injury. Aside from a terrible offensive performance against Denver, Bowers has hit this mark in three of his last four games. We know that’s what Bowers is capable of, and he figures to be busy today.
