The week 14 EPL Waiver Wire comes quickly as we have the first mid-week games of the season. Liverpool made a statement in their dominant win against Manchester City, and while it’s early still, they are clearly the team the league is chasing. As stated last week, this season continues to be unpredictable. It’s a testament to the talent from top to bottom in the EPL. The mid-week games mean managers need to reset immediately. There will most likely be rotations, and there are a number of injury and suspended players. Be ready.
Week 14 EPL Waiver wire suggestions (under 50% rostered) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Week 14 Fantasy EPL Draft Waiver Wire
Levi Colwill – Defender – 48% Rostered – Southampton vs Chelsea
Colwill and Chelsea have a great matchup this week against last-place Southampton. But they also have a great stretch of games in December. He just falls under the 50% rostered number for this list, and he won’t stay there much longer. As long as he’s healthy, he should be a week-in and-out starter. Southampton have scored just 10 goals on the season.
Ismaila Sarr- Forward – 47% Rostered – Ipswich vs Crystal Palace
Sarr has just a goal and an assist this season, both in the same game. Don’t let the low goal count fool you though, Sarr has been a solid points producer over his last five starts, including at least two shots on target in four of his last five. Sarr faces an Ipswich team who are sitting in the relegation zone and have just a single clean sheet. If you’re looking for an attacker on the EPL waiver wire, Sarr is a good shout.
Caoimhin Kelleher – Goalkeeper – 42% Rostered – Newcastle vs Liverpool
Kelleher has filled in brilliantly for the injured Alisson, and the defense hasn’t lost a step. Over his last four games, the keeper has 12 saves and two clean sheets. All four were wins, including against two teams in the top five. Fantrax managers looking for a mid-term solution at the goalie position would do well to add Kelleher, as a good keeper on the current best team in the EPL
Kevin Schade – Midfielder – 13% Rostered – Aston Villa vs Brentford
It was Schade’s first start in four games, and he made the absolute most of it. He scored a hat trick and added an assist for good measure in a 4-1 win for the Bees. They travel to Aston Villa who have just two points over their last five games, and Villa have conceded two or more goals in each of their last three. Schade will be hoping for another start and to build on the tremendous game. He should be top of the EPL waiver wire to grab a hot player.
Have fun. Good luck!
