The Week 27 EPL Waiver Wire (under 50% rostered) sees managers with a full set of games again. Thankfully. Only two points separate the top three EPL teams. The bottom of the table looks like there’s one relegation spot left up for grabs.
Luton and Bournemouth play twice in week 28, so don’t be afraid to grab a player a week ahead if you’ve got roster space.
My top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 27 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 27 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Antoine Semenyo – Forward – 30% Rostered – Burnley vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth have struggled but still find themselves mostly out of the relegation mire. Their next three games are against the bottom three teams in the league, including a double set of games next week. I love the sound of that and I’m looking to add players this week from Bournemouth. Semenyo is top of that list. He’s got four goals on the season, but over this stretch, I like the odds of a few big games.
Joe Willock – Midfielder 26% Rostered – Newcastle vs Wolves
Willock came on late against Arsenal, for his first game since November. He scored a late, although meaningless, goal in his limited time. Newcastle’s defense has really struggled this year, but offensively they are still putting up goals, with more than anyone out of the top four. Willock’s injuries have really limited him this season, so he’s still available on the EPL waiver wire.
Caoimhin Kelleher – Goalkeeper – 16% Rostered – Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool
Alisson is still not back, and Kelleher has filled in respectably. The clean sheet has eluded him since he’s stepped in, but his saves and lack of goals against make him still a solid choice on the EPL waiver wire. Forest are in 17th place, and Liverpool have the second-best goals-against record. He’s a quality choice for a keeper.
Giovani Lo Celso – Midfielder 11% Rostered – Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
He got some late minutes against Wolves on Feb 17th and now has had an extra week to rest. Lo’s injuries have kept him from becoming a regular. He has four starts this season, and he’s taken advantage of that time, scoring twice and adding two assists. His bench appearances have been much less productive. He’s not a sure starter, but when he does he’s scoring points.
Check late injuries. Go with your gut and the matchups.
Good luck.
