The week 29 EPL Waiver Wire is an interesting one. It’s an extra tough week for managers as there are only four games (eight teams) playing this weekend, due to the FA games.
- Burnley vs Brentford
- Luton vs Nottingham Forest
- Fulham vs Tottenham
- West Ham vs Aston Villa
At the top of the table Tottenham and Aston Villa each have tests on the road, as they fight for the final spot in the Champions League. Mostly intriguingly, Luton host Forest with just three points separating the two teams from the final spot in the relegation zone. Luton will be scrambling after giving up a three goal lead on Wednesday. They need to recover quickly. This one is as a big as it gets for two teams trying to say in the EPL.
My top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 29 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.

Week 29 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
David Fofana – Forward – 44% rostered – Burnley vs Brentford
Scored against West Ham, and has two games in a row with two shots on target. It looks like he will continue to start up front for Burnley. Time is running short and may be already out for Burnley. They are10 points from safety. They have nothing much left to lose at this point.
Michail Antonio – Forward – 35% rostered – West Ham vs Aston Villa
Antonio is not a sure thing, but in a week where attacking players are very, very limited, Antonio offers at least a chance at an attacking player. He may get a chance to start, but even some minutes are better than no minutes in a week with limited options. He’s capable of goals, so might worth a gamble on the EPL Waiver Wire if you need to fill a spot.
Radu Dragusin -Defender -25% rostered – Fulham vs Tottenham
The Spurs defender should come into the starting 11 with Micky van de Ven injured. Fulham have been hit or miss this season, so you’re not exactly sure what they will bring. Spurs have likewise been a bit inconsistent, especially defensively, but they have the quality to outscore opponents too. The center back is a solid option.
Kristoffer Ajer – Defender – 15% rostered – Burnley vs Brentford
Injuries have kept him out for long stretches, which is all too similar a theme for the Bee’s roster this season. They travel to Burnley who have strugg;ed to score and to win. This isn’t a bad option, especially with so few other options out there on the EPL Waiver Wire.
Don’t overthink this. Get players, as they will be going fast. A full roster may be all you need this weekend.
Good luck.
