With only three weeks remaining in the season, managers can use the EPL Waiver Wire this week to solidify their final rosters.
At this point in the season, I’m looking for players who have something to play for, besides just pride. Every team plays just once this week, but six teams have double games next week: Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Brighton, Spurs, and Newcastle. If you can, keep an eye on next week as well.
The top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 36 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 36 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Callum Hudson-Odoi – Midfielder – 42% Rostered – Sheffield United vs Nottingham Forrest
Forrest is teetering on the edge of relegation. They play SHU this weekend, and end the season against Burnley. They control their own fate. Every point matters for them. Hudson-Odoi looked dangerous on the left side, and he should have chances. I’m still hoping Gio Reyna plays again in this game.
Jacob Murphy – Midfielder – 32% Rostered – Burnley vs Newcastle
Murphy has been filling in at different positions for Newcastle as they have battled with injuries and have switched formations. Newcastle travel to 19th place Burnley this week, and then turn around to have a double week next game week. That makes him (and other new Newcastle players) top targets for Fantrax managers as you get two straight weeks with positive matchups.
Elijah Adebayo – Forward – 23% Rostered – Luton vs Everton
Adebayo has been out for a stretch, but before the injury, he had been a key offensive player for Luton. He has nine goals on the season. They host Everton this weekend and finish with West Ham and Fulham. Those aren’t the best nor the worst matchups for a team looking to stay in the EPL. They need results. I think Adebayo moves back into the starting XI, and he’s a good choice pick up on the EPL waiver wire to move back into your starting XI too.
Morgan Rogers – Forward – 19% Rostered – Brighton vs Aston Villa
Rogers has now scored three goals over his last four, and Villa has 10 goals over the last four games. Villa have maintained their form and deservedly still sit in fourth place. Players like Rogers have continued to step up when needed. Brighton are truly struggling with just two points and no wins since March 10th, including giving up seven and not scoring in their last two. Rogers should be prioritized on the EPL waiver wire this week.
It should be a fun weekend with lots to play for at both ends of the table. Enjoy!
Good luck!
