Week 4 Fantasy Hockey Goalie Streamers

The goalie atmosphere is an interesting one in the NHL to begin the season. Some younger goalies are overtaking starters and other backups have been thrust into key roles, which could last for a good amount of time. Some have taken the increased role well, and others have struggled a bit and aren’t worth streaming unless the options below are exhausted.

The 2025-26 NHL season is coming fast. Make this the season you add fantasy hockey to your Fantrax repertoire! Head on over to Fantrax.com to see Fantasy Hockey done right!

Fantasy Hockey Week 4 Goalie Streamers

Spencer Knight, Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks have been a pleasant surprise. It is always entertaining when a projected bottom-feeder is right in the mix and playing well. While Chicago could eventually go away, they aren’t playing that way, and Spencer Knight is one of the people leading the charge in net.

Knight has been one of the best goalies in the league, and he’s the clear starter, especially with how he’s played. The young netminder has started six of the eight games, won three of them, and posted a .935 SV% or better in each of his past four outings, registering all three of his wins in those games. The Blackhawks face the Ottawa Senators, Winnipeg Jets, and Edmonton Oilers this week, and while it looks tough on paper, there have been struggles with their upcoming opponents.

Arturs Silovs, Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins are another expected rebuilder that has gotten off to a hot start, and that bodes very well for goaltending. Arturs Silovs and Tristan Jarry are seemingly sharing the net, but Silovs has the edge as he was the opening night starter. With four games on the schedule for Pittsburgh this week, expect two starts from Silovs and a .900 SV% or better.

Silovs has won three of his five starts, recorded a shutout, and has a .900 SV% or better in four of his outings. The Penguins are also getting him goal support, so it’s easier to win than the Pittsburgh goalies over the past couple of years. The Penguins kick off the week with a back-to-back against the St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers, then play the Minnesota Wild and Jets. Once again, this schedule has some struggling teams, especially the Blues and Wild.

Jake Allen, New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils are one of the best teams in the NHL and don’t appear to be slowing down. The goalie position is very important because it provides our fantasy hockey team with almost a guaranteed win as the Devils are 7-1-0 with a seven-game win streak. After a tough matchup against the Colorado Avalanche early in a rematch from Sunday, upcoming opponents are the San Jose Sharks, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Anaheim Ducks.

Nico Daws will definitely get a start on the back-to-back to close out the week, but Jake Allen, the target you should already have on your team, will absolutely get two, if not the three other starts. While the Sharks provide an easier matchup for Daws, Allen and the Devils just dominated them, so he could get another crack at it.
