The EPL waiver wire still is offering value week in and week out. As the season goes on this will get tougher and tougher. This early, teams and players are still figuring things out. As are Fantrax managers.
Last week’s suggestion. Jhon Duran, scored again, making it four of five games with a goal, all from the bench. Dara O’Shea and Wilfred Ndidi both scored double-digit points and look like potential keepers.
Week 5 EPL Waiver wire suggestions (under 50% rostered) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Week 6 Fantasy EPL Draft Waiver Wire
Levi Colwill – Defender – 43% rostered – Chelsea vs Brighton
Chelsea have two straight clean sheets, Colwill has played every minute of the season so far. Besides their opening game loss to Manchester City, Chelsea have been solid, picking up 10 of 12 possible points since. Brighton are undefeated but below Chelsea in the table. If Chelsea continues their success, Colwill won’t be available much longer on the EPL waiver wire.
Fabio Carvalho – Midfielder – 32% rostered – Brentford vs West Ham
Carvalho finally got a start after this move from Liverpool. He put up solid fantasy numbers. There’s hope for more if continues to start regularly and grows into his role. There’s some value here in the long term, but it’s not a bad weekly matchup either, as West Ham has gotten off to a slow start.
Raul Jimenez – Forward – 27% rostered – Nottingham Forest vs Fulham
It’s been back-to-back starts and back-to-back goals for the Mexican forward. Both of these were home games, but Fulham travels to Nottingham Forest for the next game. Forest have yet to lose, and sit just above Fulham on the table. Jimenez is in a goal-scoring mood and could be a long-term forward, who still is available on the EPL waiver wire.
Iliman Ndiaye – Forward – 25% rostered – Everton vs Crystal Palace.
The Everton forward had a breakout game against Leicester, scoring his first goal of the season as Everton finally picked up a point. Ndiaye should keep his place in the starting 11. Crystal Palace have conceded 7 goals and, like Everton, have yet to win. This is a big early season game for both teams who want to get out of the mire of the relegation battle.
The table is tight at both ends, and there are big games this week. Go with the best matchups. Trust your gut.
Good luck!
