Week 6 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Before we get into my Week 6 wide receiver sleepers and streamers, we have a lot to recap. Deebo Samuel Jr. left with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss several weeks. KC Concepcion Jr. also left with a concussion, opening the door for Denzel Boston. Now, if you had a player who went down with an injury, then you’ll need to pay attention to these picks down below.

Week 5 Wide Receiver Sleepers

Devaughn Vele, New Orleans Saints (at New York Giants)

The Saints had a terrible game, but that doesn’t mean that Devaughn Vele will have a huge game this week against the Giants. The Giants are giving up 25.4 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Vele is averaging 7.4 targets per game, so the looks are there. This is a great matchup for a bounce-back game, as some owners might be scared to start him.

DeMario Douglas, New England Patriots (vs. New York Jets)

DeMario Douglas had a huge game in a blowout win against the Raiders. He is in line for another huge game against the New York Jets. The Jets are middle of the road when it comes to defending the pass, but the Patriots are looking like their old selves. Douglas was the only receiver active in the win and should be the number one receiver going forward.

Xaiver Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. Los Angeles Chargers)

This is a sure lock for Xaiver Worthy as he will have to step up as Tyquan Thornton is going to miss most of the season. The Chargers are 0-5 on the year, and I do not see them upsetting the Chiefs after a bye week. Rashee Rice is also banged up, which leaves Worthy to have an absolute monster of a game.

Week 5 Wide Receiver Streamers

Antonio Williams, Washington Commanders (at San Francisco 49ers)

This is a risky start, but if you are down bad on wide receivers, Antonio Williams has a chance to go off this week. He will be the WR2 on the team, and with Jayden Daniel back healthy, Williams stock is trending up. However, this is a tough matchup, but the 49ers are vulnerable as they have given up huge games to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Michael Wilson.

Wan’Dale Robinson, Tennessee Titans (at Indianapolis Colts)

Wan’Dale Robinson is an interesting player as he has the chops to go off, but it truly is based on matchup. This is the matchup that will be worth streaming him. He had seven targets last game and five the week before that. He is getting targets, and the Colts are giving up 26.6 fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

Kendrick Bourne, Arizona Cardinals (at Los Angeles Rams)

This is a risky choice based on matchup, but the Rams have also been ones to blow it on the defensive side. But now that Marvin Harrison Jr. is gone, this leaves the door open for Kendrick Bourne to be a true WR2. In his first game as the number two, he put up 70 yards on five receptions. But the key was that he saw eight targets.
