It’s once again time to identify the top running back sleepers and streamers for the coming week of NFL Football. It’s Week 7 and the fantasy football season is halfway over, too. Last week, we did great! I had Hassan Haskins as a sleeper, but also said to play Kimani Vidal.
Vidal took over the Los Angeles Chargers backfield and finished as the RB9. Michael Carter finished as the RB27. That is not bad, but not great at all. For our streamers, Rico Dowdle exploded again for another 30 fantasy points. He finished as the RB2 with 33.9 fantasy points. Jacory Croskey-Merritt did not live up to much after his breakout in Week 5. He finished as the RB38 last week, but I will have him in this week’s edition once again!

Running Back Sleepers
Woody Marks @ Seattle Seahawks
Woody Marks has not done much since Week 4, where he finished as the RB6 with 27.9 fantasy points. The good news is that he faces the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. The Seahawks are allowing the eleventh most fantasy PPG to running backs through six weeks of football. Also, they have given up 43 receptions to the position. That is most in the NFL. Marks and Nick Chubb are splitting the backfield, but I will bet on the younger, fresher running back when the Houston Texans travel to Seattle for Monday Night Football.
Rhamondre Stevenson @ Tennessee Titans
Rhamondre Stevenson had just 1.8 fantasy points in Week 6. He has not had a good game since Week 5, when he finished as the RB18 with 14.7 fantasy points. I believe in Week 7, Stevenson will have another top-20 finish when he faces the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are allowing 27.98 fantasy PPG to running backs. That is the fourth most this season. Also, the Titans have given up nine rushing touchdowns this season. That is the most. I like Stevenson to score a touchdown, too, in Week 7.
Running Back Streamer
Jacory Croskey-Merritt @ Dallas Cowboys
Rico Dowdle had 33.9 fantasy points against the Cowboys in Week 6. That was good enough to be the RB2. Now, it is Jacory Croskey-Merritt’s turn to feast against the horrendous run defense. The Cowboys are allowing 28.37 fantasy PPG to the position. That is the third most. JCM did not live up to his breakout in Week 5 and let everyone down in Week 6. He will make up for it in Week 7. My bold take for Week 7 is that JCM will finish as a top-five running back with over 100 total yards and multiple touchdowns.
