Alright, that’s more like it. While it’s not perfection, we got back on track in Week 8 with a 2-1 performance. What held us back this week was the fact that the Atlanta Falcons and Bijan Robinson simply didn’t show up last week. The game wasn’t even competitive as the Falcons never had a chance in a surprising loss to the Miami Dolphins. All we can do, though, is stick to the process and look ahead. In that case, that means digging into our Week 9 NFL Prop Plays on DraftKings.

Week 9 NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)
Justin Jefferson Over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
It’s been a less-than-ideal start to the season for Justin Jefferson. That really holds true for the Minnesota Vikings, as it was never part of the plan for Carson Wentz to spend this much, if any, time under center. An injury to J.J. McCarthy brought that on, but the good news is that he’s slated to return to action this week.
While we can point to Jefferson only catching one touchdown on the season, it hasn’t been a terrible start otherwise. Despite the inconsistent quarterback play, Jefferson’s still averaging 86 yards per game. And from a player prop perspective, that’s all that matters.
Aside from a 44-yard performance in Week 1, Jefferson has hit his player prop in every subsequent week. This is also a game, against the Detroit Lions, that the Vikings will likely be trailing in. That lends itself to being a busy afternoon for Jefferson. Additionally, the Lions have had issues in their secondary at times this year. Overall, they are middle of the pack in passing yards allowed, but it should be a solid day for Jefferson.
Oronde Gadsden Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
It’s worked for us over the past few weeks, so let’s go right back to it. In reality, there’s a level of surprise that Oronde Gadsden’s player prop is this low. For better or worse, though, that’s not going to stop us.
We have a a solid matchup for Gadsden and the Los Angeles Chargers this week as they face a reeling Tennessee Titans team. If the Titans offense wasn’t as bad as it’s been, opposing teams wouldn’t be switching to the run game so soon, and their statistics would look that much worse. The good news for Gadsden is that his player prop is a manageable number that he could hit in the first half with three or four catches.
Since we’ve seen Gadsden take on a larger role, there’s been a clear chemistry between Justin Herbert and his rookie tight end. With 68, 164, and 77 receiving yards in the last three weeks, Gadsden is in the mix to continue his stretch of success.

Kayshon Boutte Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
No, we aren’t getting lazy and recycling things here. Well, maybe yes to the recycle part, but there’s no reason not to go back to Kayshon Boutte and his player prop.
Drake Maye continues to improve on a weekly basis, and Boutte has been a beneficiary of that. He’s averaging 54 receiving yards per game, and that leaves us with a substantial cushion here.
Last week, Boutte was New England’s best receiver, and he has 93, 55, and 75 receiving yards over the past three weeks. There’s nothing to suggest that Boutte won’t have a similar performance this week.
