This is the final mock draft in the series I have conducted. I think this team has high upside, with the running backs being the weakest part. As usual, this is a 12-team mock draft with full PPR scoring. One QB, two RBs, two WRs, one TE, and two FLEXs. Let’s go!
What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2025 season.
Mock Draft from the 9th Slot
1.09 – Malik Nabers
To begin with, this is my WR3 for fantasy football in 2025. I have drafted him a handful of times in the mock drafts I have completed, so I will not bore you with the same repeated information. It will be quick. He had the highest target share % as a rookie, second most targets, third most receptions, and the seventh most receiving yards. He gets a QB upgrade as well with Russell Wilson.
2.04 – Brock Bowers
Brock Bowers is a TE, but the number one pass option for the Las Vegas Raiders. He had the greatest TE season ever for a rookie. He was number one in receptions, targets, receptions, and yards after the catch. Bowers averaged nine targets per game and 70 yards per game. Drafting Bowers secures your TE position early and gets you someone who will be putting up better numbers than most WRs.
3.09 – Josh Allen
I waited on drafting running backs in this mock draft, so drafting Josh Allen was a must. In the past five seasons, Allen has finished as the QB1 in ppg three times, once as the QB2, and once as the QB3. He is a top-three QB in football and is a lock to get over 500 rushing yards with double-digit rushing touchdown upside. If you wait on drafting running backs, getting Allen, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels, or Lamar Jackson is something that needs to be done.
4.04 – Marvin Harrison
A lackluster rookie season has made Harrison a fourth-round pick now. In situations like these, you still need to bet on talent. Harrison was an elite prospect for a reason. I believe in him to have a major bounce-back season like Jaxon Smith-Njigba did in his second season. Harrison will be a WR1 in 2025, and I was able to draft him as a WR2 in this mock draft.
5.09 – Calvin Ridley
Calvin Ridley has had consecutive seasons of over 1,000 receiving yards. Also, he will be playing with the best QB he has had since Matt Ryan during his time with the Atlanta Falcons. He was number one in air yards in 2024 and 18th in targets. Rookie QB Cam Ward will rely on the veteran WR in 2025.
6.04 – Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones has been one of the more consistent RBs for fantasy football the past few years. Yes, he is getting up there in age for a RB, but he is in an elite offense and is a tremendous pass-catcher. He finished as the RB20 on a PPG basis in 2024 and is currently going as the RB26 based on his ADP.
7.09 – Travis Etienne
This might be an unpopular pick for some, but I am betting on Travis Etienne in 2025. A horrid 2024 season has tanked his value and vanished like the hair on my head. I am comfortable drafting him as my RB2 in mock drafts, with a slight hope that he gets traded to a team that will appreciate his talent and put 2024 in the past.
8.04 – Khalil Shakir
Getting a stack is always a great time in fantasy football. Especially when that WR is tied to Josh Allen. Khalil Shakir has improved every season in the NFL and saw 100 targets in 2024. I believe he has one more ceiling and can see over 130 targets in 2025 and crack 1,000 receiving yards. It all depends on the Buffalo Bill will be in more competitive games this upcoming season.
