2025 Fantasy Football: Week 11 Weekend Waiver Wire

Welcome back to the Weekend Waiver Wire, where we’re officially entering the part of the season that separates the planners from the panickers. Week 11 isn’t just about filling holes; it’s about preparing your roster for the fantasy playoffs. The savvy managers are already stashing players with great Week 15–17 matchups, and this year’s schedule gives us some juicy targets.

For this week, I will give you what I view as the top 5 players with the best playoff matchups at quarterback and running back. Next week, we will look at wide receivers and tight ends. In the Tables below, we have listed the player’s name, the opponent for each fantasy playoff week, and their ranking in fantasy points against. For example, the Jaguars currently give up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks; they are listed as Jaguars (2nd)

Quarterback

Player Week 15 Week 16 Week 17
Daniel Jones Seahawks (15th) Niners (7th) Jaguars (2nd)
Tua Tagovailoa Steelers (6th) Bengals (3rd) Buccaneers (16th)
JJ McCarthy Cowboys (first) Giants (4th) Lions (13th)
Joe Burrow/Joe Flacco Ravens (5th) Dolphins (10th) Cardinals (24th)
Brock Purdy Titans (11th) Colts (17th) Bears (8th)

Running Back

Player Week 15 Week 16 Week 17
TreVeyon Henderson Bills (5th) Ravens (12th) Jets (8th)
Saquon Barkley Raiders (16th) Commanders (9th) Bills (5th)
Alvin Kamara Panthers (20th) Jets (8th) Titans (3rd)
Aaron Jones Cowboys (4th) Giants (10th) Lions (32nd)
Chase Brown Ravens (12th) Dolphins (7th) Cardinals (15th)

If you want to win in December, you start building the foundation now, and this week’s stashes are the first bricks. Let’s dive in. You also may want to acquire some of the players listed in the tables above if your trade deadline hasn’t hit yet.

Week 11 Weekend Waiver Wire

Quarterbacks

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

Jacoby Brissett has been one of the most reliable fantasy QBs whenever he gets the nod. In all four of his starts, he’s cleared 258 passing yards and thrown multiple touchdowns, giving him one of the safest floors among streaming options. The 49ers aren’t the defense they used to be, middle of the pack against the pass, and Brissett has been playing efficient, composed football while boosting the entire Cardinals offense. If you need a Week 11 streamer or emergency starter, Brissett is absolutely in play.

Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers has been a rollercoaster this season, settling into more of a matchup-dependent fantasy quarterback than a weekly starter. Five of his final seven games come against defenses that struggle against the pass. If you’re planning for playoff matchups or need a speculative QB stash, Rodgers has real late-season upside in the right spots. He is an excellent play for Week 11 against the Bengals.

Geno Smith, Los Angeles Raiders

Guess who is playing the Cowboys in Week 11. That is correct, Geno is. Everyone scores fantasy points against the Cowboys as they give up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. We can call him match-up dependent Geno. This is a good matchup, which means Geno will perform well.

Other quarterbacks to consider:

Jameis Winston, New York Giants – this guy will sling it

Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders – 213 yards, 2 TDs, 5 carries, 22 yards rushing

Quarterback Notes: The first three guys are all people who should be playing in some lineup for you this week. Brissett is starting to look like a weekly starter. Jameis Winston, I love you. Thank God he is back to make fantasy fun. I can give or take Mariota, but he does get the Cowboys in Week 17.

Running Backs

Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tucker has done it before, and it looks like he might get more opportunities running the ball for the Buccaneers in Week 11. The Buccaneers will play the Bills in Week 11, and you can run on the Bills. If Tucker can carve out significant carries in this offense, he could be great for you down the stretch run.

Emari Demercado. Arizona Cardinals

Demercado has averaged 7.9 yards per carry for the Cardinals over the past two games. He also had 3 receptions for 40 yards in Week 10. He is producing with his touches. Even though this will be a committee in Arizona, Demercado is the guy who has a chance to deliver the most out of the players currently active in this backfield.

Other Running Backs to Consider:

Devin Singletary, New York Giants – 8 carries, 20 yards, 3 targets, 3 receptions, 53 yards

Brian Robinson Jr., San Francisco 49ers – 8 carries, 41 yards, TD

Tyler Algeier, Atlanta Falcons – 11 carries, 57 yards, 2 TDs

Running Back Notes: Tucker needs more touches to become someone you can rely on. Singletary is a decent running back who should be rostered. I can say the same for Demercado. Brian Robinson and Tyler Allgeier are both handcuffs that everyone should consider as the season progresses. If anything happens to Christian McCaffrey or Bijan Robinson, you will want to have these two players.

Wide Receivers

Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals

With Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined in Week 11 following an appendectomy, this is the perfect time to stash Wilson. He saw seven targets in Week 10 even with Harrison active, and now he’s positioned for an immediate bump in opportunities. At minimum, Week 11 should bring a noticeable uptick in volume, and if he delivers, it will pay off big for you. This is the type of short-term opportunity that can turn into long-term fantasy value.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars

Parker Washington has quietly put together back-to-back FLEX-worthy weeks, and he’s doing it with volume and versatility. In Week 10, he turned seven targets into three catches, 33 yards, and a touchdown. The week before, he hauled in eight of nine targets for 90 yards. Add in his punt-return touchdown in Week 10, and it’s clear Washington is becoming an increasingly valuable and heavily utilized weapon for the Jaguars. Parker Washington Can’t Lose.

Other Wide Receivers to Consider:

Tyler Lockett and Tre Tucker – plug-and-play against the Cowboys this week

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts – 4 targets, 4 receptions, 48 yards, 2 TDs

Darius Slayton, New York Giants – 4 targets, 4 receptions, 89 yards

Wide Receiver Notes: Washington and Pierce both appear to be key contributors to their teams’ passing attacks. Slayton looks like he could be a great addition with Jameis Winston at quarterback for the Giants. Wilson and the Raiders’ wide receivers should be in lineups this week.

Tight Ends

Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears

His schedule is not exceptionally difficult the rest of the way, but he is more of an addition to holding on to and seeing where it goes. Loveland followed up his breakout game with a 4-target, 4-catch, 55-yard game. With Cole Kmet and DJ Moore being dinged up, Loveland should factor in more of the Bears’ passing game.

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Otton produces when called upon. I have written and discussed it many times. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out, Cade is the second option in the pass game for the Bucs. For instance, in Week 10 against the Patriots, Otton saw 12 targets. He turned those into 9 receptions and 82 yards. I love that production. Week 11 should be challenging against the Bills, but the schedule eases up from there. Other tight ends to consider:

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints – 4 targets, 4 receptions, 92 yards, TD

Patrick Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers – Playing the Bengals Week 11

Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams – 5 targets, 4 receptions, 41 yards, TD

Tight Notes: Freiermuth and Parkinson are plug-and-plays in Week 11. Freiermuth scorched the Steelers in Week 7 and will most likely do so again in Week 11. Juwan Johnson is my top add as he is now the second option in the Saints’ passing attack, but is on a bye this week. Loveland and Otton are both nice additions for the longer term as well.

FINAL NOTE: You may not have noticed, but I didn’t say Must-stash once in this article. I blew it with this note, didn’t I?
