Week 12 is in the books, which means it’s time to flip the page to Week 13 — the final push before the fantasy playoffs. Who are the top tight end sleepers and streamers for the coming week?
We’re blessed with zero byes this week. This is the time to tighten up your roster, patch weaknesses, and grab players who can help win a championship. Whether you need injury insurance, a spot starter, or a high-upside stash, Week 13’s waiver wire has options worth chasing.

Before we dive in, do yourself a favor and make sure these guys aren’t sitting on your wire:
Theo Johnson, Cade Otton, Harold Fannin, Colston Loveland,
Week 13 Tight End Streamers
Evan Engram, Denver Broncos
Engram is back from the Week 12 bye and walks straight into a get-right spot on Sunday night against Washington. He hasn’t done fantasy managers many favors this year — zero TDs and just one top-12 finish (Week 5). But matchup-wise? This is as gravy as it gets.
Washington has been a turnstile for tight ends, allowing the 8th-most fantasy points to the position and coughing up five TE touchdowns in their last six games. If you’re desperate and scanning the wire for any pulse at tight end, Engram vs. this Commanders defense makes sense. It’s “hold your nose and stream,” but the path to relevance is there.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
On paper, Taysom Hill hasn’t cracked anything this season—he hasn’t even topped 6 fantasy points in a game. But the usage in Week 12 was impossible to ignore.
Hill led the Saints with 10 carries, including five in the red zone, and Kellen Moore dialed him up everywhere:
-
5 snaps at QB
-
6 at WR
-
15 at RB
That’s premium “Taysom Chaos” usage.
He’s now one red zone carry behind Alvin Kamara for the team lead and is tied with him in goal-line attempts — and those numbers explode if Kamara misses more time. If you need touchdown upside and can stomach the volatility, Hill is very much in play.
Week 13 Tight End Sleepers
Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams
Parkinson’s heating up at the perfect time, scoring in three straight games, including a 4/41/1 line last week. Reality check: those are his only touchdowns in nine games this season, and he’s averaging just 1.5 receptions outside of that stretch.
But TD streaks matter for streamers, and he gets a soft landing vs. Carolina. In deeper formats, he’s at least on the radar as a red-zone dart throw.
Brock Wright, Detroit Lions
No one is mistaking Brock Wright for LaPorta 2.0, but opportunity matters. With LaPorta sidelined recently, Wright has seen 11 targets across two games, which is enough to make him a desperation plug-in for managers scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Gunner Helm, Tennessee Titans
Helm posted a clean 6 catches on 7 targets for 51 yards in Week 12, leading the Titans in targets, catches, and yards. It wasn’t explosive, but the usage was real.
More importantly, he’s becoming Cam Ward’s go-to option with Calvin Ridley done for the season and Elic Ayomanor banged up. Helm has now seen 5+ targets in three of Tennessee’s last five games. He looks like the Titans’ TE1 of the future.
He’s still mostly a short-area option and doesn’t offer much YAC juice, but anyone commanding volume in a thin TE landscape deserves a look in deeper leagues.
