2026 Fantasy Football: Week 7 Quarterback Rankings

Welcome to our Week 7 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings!

Last week, Trevor Lawrence gave us a show, putting up 28.3 fantasy points. He was followed by a massive Tyler Shough bounce-back, who went from a horrific 1.8 fantasy points in Week 5 to finish as the QB2 with 27 fantasy points. Meanwhile, C.J. Stroud has been on fire over the past three weeks, averaging 22.7 fantasy points and finishing last week as the QB3. Spoiler alert: C.J. Stroud enters the top 10 this week after three extremely impressive showings over the past three weeks—and it certainly doesn’t hurt that he is facing a vulnerable Giants defense!

Week 6 Duds & Bounce-Back Targets

On the flip side, there was a lot to be desired when it came to Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert (again), and Bo Nix, as they finished as the QB18, QB23, QB24, and QB29, respectively. Let’s hope the bye week did Herbert some good, as he is sitting as the QB32 over the past three weeks.

While Patrick Mahomes faces a very tough test against the Seahawks, I expect him to bounce back from last week’s horrific showing where he only posted 11.5 fantasy points. Dak Prescott has been the QB19 over the past three weeks, but he faces a division rival in Philadelphia, who is now without Jalen Hurts. I expect confidence to be high and this Cowboys offense to be clicking on all cylinders—the Eagles are playing with limited stakes with Hurts out, while the Cowboys need a statement win. No one needs to prove to the world that he is still an elite quarterback more than Dak Prescott!

Lastly, Bo Nix gets one of the friendliest matchups on the slate against the Arizona Cardinals, whose defense is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last three weeks.

Without further ado, here are my Week 7 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings!

Tier 1: League of Their Own

1) Brock Purdy (@ ATL) | 2) Jordan Love (@ DET) | 3) Lamar Jackson (vs. CIN) | 4) Drake Maye (@ CHI)

Brock Purdy (QB1): While Purdy hasn’t been lighting the world on fire over the past three weeks, he has been extremely steady, posting 19.6, 17.2, and 17.4 fantasy points, respectively. Now he travels to Atlanta to face a Falcons defense allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the past three weeks. Even without Mike Evans, I expect him to utilize Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle while making do with whatever wide receivers he has. With his pinpoint accuracy, expect him to thrive in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium dome!

Jordan Love (QB2): Jordan Love is heating up, totaling 25.3 and 21.2 fantasy points over the past two weeks while displaying legendary rapport with Matthew Golden and Christian Watson. He also gets Josh Jacobs back, which should open up the passing game even further. Most importantly, he faces a Detroit Lions defense allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last three weeks.

Tier 2: Elite QB1s

5) Caleb Williams (vs. NE) | 6) Jared Goff (vs. GB) | 7) Joe Burrow (@ BAL) | 8) Bryce Young (vs. TB) | 9) C.J. Stroud (vs. NYG)

Jared Goff (QB6): Goff was absolutely scorching before his Week 6 bye, scoring 25.7 and 24.6 fantasy points in Weeks 4 and 5, respectively. He returns home to the dome—where he always thrives—against division rival Green Bay. With the Lions needing to match a hot Jordan Love on the other side, expect this to be a classic Wild West shootout!

C.J. Stroud (QB9): I touched on Stroud earlier, but he cannot get enough praise. He hasn’t scored under 20 fantasy points over the last three weeks, averaging 22.7 fantasy points during that span. I expect him to keep it rolling against a Giants defense surrendering the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last three weeks.

Tier 3: High-End QBs with Upside

10) Dak Prescott (@ PHI) | 11) Matthew Stafford (@ LV) | 12) Kyler Murray (vs. IND)

Kyler Murray (QB12): Murray headed into his bye week after his most impressive showing of the season, where he totaled 18.3 fantasy points and delivered an unbelievable touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson in the back of the end zone. That momentum should only boost his confidence. With Justin Jefferson fully healing his ankle over the bye week, the Vikings’ offense should be clicking on all cylinders, and I expect Murray to finish as a high-end QB1 option this week.

Tier 4: Talented with Matchup Volatility

13) Patrick Mahomes (@ SEA) | 14) Aaron Rodgers (@ NO) | 15) Tyler Shough (vs. PIT)

Tier 5: QB2s with Some Upside

16) Baker Mayfield (@ CAR) | 17) Bo Nix (@ ARI) | 18) Kirk Cousins (vs. LAR) | 19) Deshaun Watson (@ TEN) | 20) Geno Smith (vs. MIA)

Bo Nix (QB17): There’s no way to sugarcoat it: Nix has struggled mightily recently as the QB36 over the past three weeks, posting 13.6, 7.9, and 4.5 fantasy points for an average of just 8.7 points per game. However, the Arizona Cardinals’ defense is just what the doctor ordered, as they’ve allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last three weeks. Expect the Oregon product to bounce back and deliver mid-QB2 numbers with upside.

Tier 6: Floor QB2 Options

21) Michael Penix Jr. (vs. SF) | 22) Jacoby Brissett (vs. DEN) | 23) Sam Darnold (vs. KC) | 24) J.J. McCarthy (@ HOU) | 25) Tanner McKee (vs. DAL)

J.J. McCarthy (QB24): While it’s not official, it looks like McCarthy will start for the Giants in place of Jameis Winston after putting up an astonishing 243 passing yards in the 4th quarter alone last week—tying Eli Manning’s franchise record for 4th-quarter passing yards. While he won’t repeat those historical numbers, he possesses upside and enough offensive weapons to warrant consideration as a Superflex desperation play.

Tier 7: Deep Superflex & Desperation Plays

26) Malik Willis (@ NYJ) | 27) Cam Ward (vs. CLE) | 28) Daniel Jones (@ MIN)

Final Thoughts

Look at that, you made it all the way down the list! That definitely means you’re serious about winning.

It doesn’t matter if you are on cruise control at 6–0, struggling at 0–6, or somewhere in between—every week matters. Do not take a week off, because when playoff time arrives, spots are usually decided by one or two games. Make every decision count and ensure your signal-caller isn’t the issue for your matchup this week!
