It’s Fantasy Baseball draft season! While some of us degenerates were drafting back in October and November, now is the time where fantasy baseball drafts really kick into high gear. We here at FantraxHQ have been pumping out a ton of great content all offseason long and are diving head-first into our 2022 Fantrax Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit. A big part of any draft kit is the rankings, and we’re continuing our staff consensus rankings for 2022 with our fantasy baseball second base rankings.
Below you’ll find the consensus rankings that nine of our MLB writers were involved in. The writers involved are Eric Cross, Chris Clegg, Nic Civale, Mike Carter, Mick Ciallela, Justin Dunbar, Matt Heckman, Michael Govier, and Logan Kritzeck. Each writer provided anywhere from 40-50 second basemen so we could create our consensus top-40.
The second base position is as talented and as deep as ever with several high-profile names like Trea Turner and Marcus Semien gaining eligibility during the 2021 season. You can add Mookie Betts’ name to that list as well depending on your games played requirement in your fantasy league. Betts is not included below, but you’ll still find plenty of exciting names as we go 40 deep with our rankings at this position.
