Fantasy Basketball Weekend Streamers: March 24-26

Playoffs, you kidding me? No, no we are not.

It is an exciting time around the fantasy basketball world, except of course if you have had 2 weeks of Tyreese Haliburton on your IR during the first round of the playoffs. It hurts, it always does. But alas Fantrax offers you options to pick up the pieces and pick up a few decent options available to help your team reach the next round of your fantasy playoff bracket.

Fantasy Basketball Weekend Streamers

NBA Fantasy Streamers is a weekly article put out by Fantrax to help Fantasy NBA managers chase down statistics in weekly league formats. All the players listed below play 2 games in three nights between Friday and Sunday, giving you the best opportunity to maximize their statistical output.

Teams With Two Games

ATL, BOS, BKN, CHA, CHI, DAL, GSW, HOU, IND, LAL, MEM, MIL, OKC, PHI, PHX, POR, SAC, SAS, TOR, UTA, WAS

Shaedon Sharpe, G/F – Portland Trailblazers| 48% rostered

Best Stats: 3PM, PTS, STL

It’s already been announced ahead of Friday’s game with Chicago Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons will be held out due to injuries. What’s less clear is if the Blazers are about to go full tank mode, which could make Sharpe’s value rise to new highs.

Earning only his sixth start of the season Wednesday against the Jazz, Sharpe dropped 28 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and hit 4 three-pointers. As stated above there is a good chance many starters will miss time until the end of the season, as the blazers are falling further and further from play-in contention. If there is any player who has the most to benefit, it’s Sharpe.

Trendon Watford,  F – Portland Trailblazers | 37% rostered

Best Stats: REB, PTS, STL

Copy / Paste from above. In all seriousness, the factors that will lead to a massive uptick in usage for Sharpe will be the same for Watford. Watford isn’t the scoring threat Sharpe is, but he’s still a decent rebounder and defensive stat guy who can knock down threes. The most significant variable in all of this is that he’s likely to see 30+ minutes of action in both games over the weekend.

Sandro Mamukelashvili, C – San Antonio Spurs | 22% rostered

Best Stats: REB, PTS, 3PM

Serving generally as the backup center in San Antonio  Mamukelashvili has played 22+ minutes in five of his last six outings while seeing 25+ three times. Let’s be honest, the Spurs are in full tank mode and they’re letting just about everyone play, and resting young core guys like Keldon Johnson, And Devin Vassell regularly.

Over his last six games, Sandro is grabbing 7.6 rebounds and hitting 1.2 threes. It is extremely hard to predict what the Spurs rotation will look like game to game, but he’s clearly on a positive run and is widely available even in deep leagues.

Ochai Agbaji, G – Utah Jazz | 37% rostered

Best Stats: 3PM, PTS

Much like the issues plaguing the Blazers and Spurs, the Jazz are riddled with injuries and Agbaji has taken advantage. Over his last six games, the rookie guard is hitting over three, three-pointers a game. He doesn’t seem to consistently add much value outside of scoring, but his size and athleticism make him a defensive stat threat on any given night.

Kevon Looney, F/C –  Golden State Warriors | 82% rostered

Best Stats: REB, BLK

In standard leagues, Looney is likely far less than 50% rostered and is by far the best rebounding option widely available. For managers in week two of a fantasy matchup, Looney can be a guy that wins manager’s boards in a close match-up down the stretch. That being said, the veteran Warriors center doesn’t bring much else to the table.

Best Options For Assists

  • Kris Dunn, G – Utah Jazz | 47% rostered
  • Monte Morris, G – Washington Wizards | 73% rostered
  • T.J McConnell, G – Indiana Pacers | 57% rostered (Contingent on the status of Tyreese Haliburton)
  • Andrew Nembhard, G – Indiana Pacers | 49% rostered (Contingent on the status of Tyreese Haliburton)
  • Deni Avdija, G/F – Washington Wizards | 60% rostered
  • Cameron Payne, G – Pheonix Suns | 36$ rostered
