Fantasy Football 2024: Week 13 Wide Receiver Rankings

As we roll into my Week 13 wide receiver rankings, we need to see what we learned from Week 12. We learned Terry McLaurin is a boom or bust start, Jaylen Waddle could be back and Courtland Sutton is a must-start for the rest of the season. The season is so close to the end and this is when everything matters. So sit back and let me do all the work for you as you can stroll into your fantasy football playoffs with no fear.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start with Sutton as my WR11 against the Browns. Since Week 8, Sutton has been on a tear, including three top-10 finishes in his last four games. Since Week 8, Sutton has had three touchdowns, compared to his two touchdowns before. Sutton has a lot of great things going for him. For one, Bo Nix has come into his own in the last few weeks. And two, Sutton has the Browns this week. The Browns are giving up 30.6 fantasy points to wide receivers. Expect this game to be a shootout as both the Broncos and Browns need every win they can get to solidify their spot in the playoffs. Expect Sutton to be a great fantasy start for the rest of the season.
  • Next, I have Deebo Samuel Sr. as my WR35 against the Bills. This is an easy one, bench Samuel. His highest scoring week was only 19.2 and in his last three weeks, his highest score is 10.1. Not only has Samuel been bad, but the 49ers could be without Brock Purdy again for Week 13. Also, the Bills are a top-10 fantasy defense against wide receivers. I expect this game to be a blowout and the 49ers only put up 10 points.
  • Lastly, I have Ladd McConkey as my WR17 against the Falcons. McConkey is looking like he could be the second-half guy who saves your fantasy season. His numbers aren’t flashy, but he is looking like he could be Justin Herbert’s favorite target on this offense. On the season McConkey has 69 targets, while Quentin Johnston has 42 and Joshua Palmer has 40. McConkey is the more reliable fantasy option on this Chargers team. Also, the Chargers have the Falcons this week who are the fourth-worst fantasy defense against wide receivers. They are giving up 30.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
