Week 10 MNF Preview
Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers (-1.5) O/U: 45.5
Clear Starts: Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert, Josh Jacobs
A.J. Brown – WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Brown had a horrid start to the 2025 season. His target numbers are as good as ever, but his catch percentage and yards per target have noticeably dropped. Things are looking up for the veteran receiver, though.
After catching 6 targets for 80 yards against the Giants in Week 6, Brown turned 4 receptions into 121 yards and 2 TDs against the Vikings. He missed the next week with a hamstring injury but should be ready to go after a well-timed bye week.
We’ll need to continue to see good games from Brown to trust him as anything more than a shaky WR2 but his recent games have been encouraging. The Eagles offense as a whole struggled to start the year before finally looking closer to form. Confidence matters, and we saw that prior to the bye. You can’t “trust” A.J. Brown, but you should start him and expect a strong performance on Monday.
Romeo Doubs – WR, Green Bay Packers
This is the type of player everyone wants on their team. Romeo Doubs is as reliable as they come, and he’s improving nearly every season. Doubs is setting career-highs in targets, receptions, and yards per game. He scores at a decent rate and catches over 60% of the passes that go his way. Jordan Love will continue to throw his way.
Quinyon Mitchell is only allowing a passer rating of 74.1 when targeted. When Doubs goes up against him, that will be an issue, but he has never been an upside guy in fantasy football. He has a solid floor and profiles as a safe WR3. The Packers always look his way and that shouldn’t change in Week 10.
Matthew Golden – WR, Green Bay Packers
Rookie WRs tend to see a bigger boom in the second half of their debut seasons, but Golden may take a while to enter your fantasy lineups. His target numbers are pitiful on a weekly basis. He hasn’t scored yet, and two of his three games with over 50 receiving yards came against the Cowboys and Bengals – two of the worst pass defenses in the league.
Golden is officially questionable after failing to practice on Friday and Saturday. Even if he does play, he is not a great start. He would face Cooper DeJean in the slot and already struggles to draw targets and produce with them. He’s an easy sit on Monday Night Football.
Christian Watson – WR, Green Bay Packers
After coming back from an ACL tear, Watson hasn’t missed a beat. In his first two games of 2025, Watson caught 6 of 8 targets for a whopping 143 yards. That may not be sustainable, and he isn’t trustworthy in fantasy yet, but he should be rostered in 12+ team leagues.
Luke Musgrave – TE, Green Bay Packers
Tucker Kraft’s injury opens the door for someone like Luke Musgrave to step up. Musgrave had a solid rookie year but hasn’t done much since. Kraft has proven himself as an incredible blocker and receiver, leaving little work for anyone else. It would be irresponsible to assume that the work Kraft got will automatically go to Musgrave or the Packers’ TEs as a whole.
We may not get an answer this week, either. The Packers already have a crowded receiver room that brought back Christian Watson a few weeks ago. The Eagles also allow the 3rd fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. It’s more likely that the Kraft injury just muddies the water, makes the offense worse, and spreads the ball out more. With such a difficult matchup, we may not be able to draw many conclusions from Week 10’s game either.
Musgrave doesn’t have an easy matchup. He likely won’t offer the same upside that Tucker Kraft did. He will have to prove reliability in some way, be it as a target hog or red zone weapon to offer fantasy upside. Fantasy managers hoping for a big Monday Night Football performance should heavily temper expectations. Kraft excelled as a receiver despite a crowded receiving room, but Musgrave may not be able to overcome it each week.
Emanuel Wilson – RB, Green Bay Packers
While standalone value is off the table, Wilson continues to serve as the primary backup to Josh Jacobs. Wilson averages 6.5 opportunities (rushes + targets) per game and gets decent receiving work. Chris Brooks is the only other Packers RB to record a rush or target, and he often doesn’t get any work. Wilson can be rostered as a backup who should dominate touches should Jacobs ever miss time.
