Week 12 NFL DFS Late Slate Picks

Quarterbacks

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

This guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite weekly plays. Jacoby Brissett has thrown two touchdowns in every single start this season, and now he gets a Jaguars defense allowing the 5th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Jacksonville has been shredded lately, giving up multiple passing TDs in four of their last five games. Brissett is that rare late-season gift, a steady, high-floor option who keeps delivering 20-plus fantasy points every week.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles draw the Cowboys in Week 12, and Dallas has been the best matchup you can ask for at quarterback, as they’re allowing the most fantasy points to the position. Yes, Jalen Hurts threw for just 152 yards against them in Week 1… but he also punched in two rushing touchdowns. In matchups like this, Hurts consistently delivers multi-TD production. Quarterbacks are averaging 291 total yards and 2.7 TDs per game against Dallas this season. Simply put: Hurts is so good, and this spot sets up perfectly for another spike week.

Running Backs

Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

I know what you’re thinking: “Reedy, this is the part where you lob a ridiculous meatball take into the column.” But hear me out before you call me an idiot. The Falcons are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs, and the Saints face them in Week 12. Alvin Kamara is coming off a bye and just handled 25 touches for 115 total yards in his last game. The matchup is soft, the volume is there, and everything points to Kamara being a sneaky, under-the-radar play this week. We’re rolling back the clock at least for one week, and Kamara becomes fantasy relevant again.

Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles play the Cowboys in Week 12. The Cowboys give up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. Barkley has been getting the touches with total touches of 25 in Week 10 and 2 in Week 11. He hasn’t been getting the touchdowns. If he gets that kind of volume against the Cowboys, we should see a touchdown punched in. Barkley is in a great spot to produce in Week 12.

Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars

Etienne has three straight games with either 100 total yards or a touchdown. That is three straight double-digit fantasy scores against some formidable defenses. In Week 12, it gets easier for Etienne; the Jaguars play the Cardinals. The Cardinals you see give up the ninth most fantasy points to running backs. Look for Etienne to produce again in Week 12.

Wide Receivers

Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals

It might feel like chasing points, but the volume here is too big to ignore. Michael Wilson saw 18 targets last week, a massive 32% target share, and turned them into 15 catches for 185 yards. Now he gets a Jaguars defense that’s tough against the run but far more exploitable through the air. With Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined again after his appendectomy, Wilson steps right back into an alpha role. If you want to win this week, plug in Willy (yes, I swear someone really calls him that) and enjoy the production.

AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles play the Cowboys in Week 12. The Cowboys give up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ wide receivers. In Week 11, Brown saw 11 targets; he turned that into seven receptions and 49 yards. If he gets this type of volume against the Cowboys, we should be looking at 100 yards and a touchdown. I never thought I would say this but AJ Brown is a sneaky DFS play in Week 12.

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

I would not be concerned about Tyler Shough getting the ball to Olave. In Week 11, Olave had eight targets. That was a 29% target share. The targets will be there for Olave. He turned those into five receptions, 104 yards, and a touchdown. The Falcons are up, and they are middle of the pack at defending the pass. Ole, ole, ole, ole, Olave!

Tight Ends

Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders

I was not sure whether I should include Bowers in this article. But he is averaging nine targets a game over the last three games. He also has averaged over 0 yards per game over this span and scored three touchdowns (all in Week 9). He is the top option in the Raiders’ passing game. Expect him to see massive volume again in Week 12.

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

McBride has already racked up five touchdowns in the four games Jacoby Brissett has started for the Cardinals. This week, Arizona faces the 49ers, who rank middle-of-the-pack against tight ends. McBride is firmly the top option in the Cardinals’ passing game and should see huge volume in Week 11, making him a strong fantasy play at the position.

Defense

Los Angeles Raiders

The Raiders face the Browns this week, who will have Shedeur Sanders under center. Week 11 wasn’t pretty: 4 completions on 16 attempts, 47 yards, one interception, and two sacks. In Week 12, this matchup will be chalk for defenses. Sanders might rack up some garbage stats, but they’ll only matter for the Browns’ D fantasy owners, not yours.
