This is it. Time is now of the essence. As we enter Week 14, it’s the last week of the fantasy regular season. That means it’s time to truly put your best foot forward when setting your lineups.
To make matters even more stressful, we are back to having bye weeks. While every decision takes on greater importance, we also need to stay true to the process. The stakes are higher, but there shouldn’t be any difference between Week 1 and Week 14. Of course, that’s not going to stop you from spending more time obsessing over the decision. So let’s jump right into our Week 14 NFL Tight End rankings while quickly reviewing the top performers from Week 13.

Injury Notes for Week 14
Brock Wright, Detroit Lions
After not playing last week, Brock Wright hasn’t returned to practice in Week 14. With Sam LaPorta still on Injured Reserve, the tight end position continues to be something to be ignored in Detroit.
Tight End Notes
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Considering that Dalton Kincaid hasn’t played since Week 10, it’s possible that I could have included him above. He was listed as questionable entering last week, but ultimately didn’t play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The good news is that Kincaid is trending towards playing, as this is a matchup we don’t want to ignore. Far from it, in fact, as the Kincaid and the Bills are facing the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14. That means a matchup with the team allowing the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
It’s become far too easy to take advantage of the Bengals with our fantasy tight ends this season. Kincaid has two games this season with six catches and at least 100 receiving yards. There’s no reason not to expect him to make it three this week.
Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
If we’re going to follow the matchups, then we also can’t ignore Tyler Warren. The good news with Warren is that he’s been performing at a high level all season. There’s been no doubt about his role in the Indianapolis Colts offense, and Warren continues to be consistent.
Last week, despite being sick, Warren caught just three passes for 22 yards, but it did come with his fourth touchdown on the season. If we’re going to have one knock against Warren this year, it would be the lack of touchdowns. However, he’s been a top-5 tight end this season with 58 catches for 684 yards.
This week, against a Jacksonville Jaguars team allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends, that success should continue. In fact, it should be one of Warren’s better weeks of the season.
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
Perhaps the most unlikely top-10 tight end of the season, to this point, has to be Juwan Johnson. He continues to serve a legitimate role in the New Orleans offense as a safety valve, with his workload continuing to increase.
Johnson has been targeted 76 times on the season, catching 54 passes for 576 yards and three touchdowns. At this point, it’s essentially Chris Olave and Johnson when it comes to receiving options in New Orleans. While Tyler Shough isn’t exactly lighting things up under center, he’s been doing a solid job of moving the ball downfield at times. Or at least, enough to make Johnson a viable fantasy option.
Over the past two weeks, Johnson was targeted 16 times while catching 11 passes for 85 yards. He should continue to be busy once again in Week 14.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
Could Kyle Pitts do it two weeks in a row? I really don’t want to get sucked back into this vortex, but that’s what happens with Pitts. The question is, how much of our faith do we want to put in him?
With Kirk Cousins back under center, Pitts had a strong game with seven catches for 82 yards. It did come with Drake London sidelined, and it’s unclear whether or not he’ll make his return in Week 14. If he doesn’t, then Pitts is truly set up for success. Or at least he should be against a Seattle Seahawks team allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
