Week 10 Fantasy Hockey Goalie Streamers

It is a fairly busy week in the NHL and that bodes well for adding goalies who will play a lot and provide a good amount of fantasy points. These are three starters who have picked up their game recently or continued to play well without being given enough trust by fantasy hockey managers.

Fantasy Hockey Week 10 Goalie Streamers

Stuart Skinner, Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers seemed to have turned a corner at the end of their long road trip and are back home and winning games. Stuart Skinner is the clear starter and has given the Oilers three very good starts in a row, allowing just three goals and recording a shutout.

Skinner has 10 wins on the season and two shutouts, plus he’s brought his GAA down to 2.86 and now has a .889 SV%, which continues to climb. He’s good for 3-4 starts in a row before Calvin Pickard gets in net for one, and Skinner is playing much better than the Oilers’ backup right now. Edmonton has four games this week, so expect Skinner to be in goal for at least three. The opponents are the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Montreal Canadiens.

Tristan Jarry, Pittsburgh Penguins

Tristan Jarry has appeared in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ last five games and has won four of those games with a SV% of at least .925 in three of them. The Penguins are still playing well, so there isn’t an expectation that they will fall off this season, especially if they are to get healthier soon. Jarry, since coming back from injury, has taken hold of the net and should be seen as the starter.

He has nine wins in 11 starts this season to go along with a 2.61 GAA, .913 SV%, and a shutout. The Penguins lost most of the games while Jarry was on the shelf, and have been winning since his return, so there’s no reason for Pittsburgh to change their approach in net for the time being. This means Jarry will get two, maybe three of the starts this week for the Penguins against the Anaheim Ducks, Canadiens, San Jose Sharks, and Utah Mammoth.

Dan Vladar, Philadelphia Flyers

Dam Vladar remains one of the best goalies regularly on the waiver wire. The Philadelphia Flyers are no joke, and Vladar, Trevor Zegras, and their new head coach, Rick Tocchet, have really changed the look of the team this season. Vladar has 10 wins in 16 starts, also posting a 2.59 GAA and .906 SV% this season.

He is the clear starter in net for the Flyers. Philadelphia is also one of the teams that plays four times this week, so expect three games from Vladar, against the Sharks, Vegas Golden Knights, and one of the back-to-backs versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
