Deep League Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 13

Week 13 brings a scheduling wrinkle that savvy fantasy managers can exploit. While most teams suit up three or four times, four teams play only twice, and one team plays five games. Volume matters — especially in deeper formats — so roster decisions this week should be made with schedule leverage front and center.

Let’s break down the waiver wire targets who can help tilt the math in your favor.

NBA Deep League Waiver Wire Adds

Collin Murray-Boyles – F/C Raptors

Murray-Boyles has quietly become one of the more reliable deep-league bigs over the past two weeks. He’s averaged 28 minutes across his last six games, a sharp jump from his early-season role, and he’s made the most of it with across-the-board production: points, rebounds, assists, and defensive stats.

The results speak for themselves. Toronto went 5–1 during that stretch, and Murray-Boyles capped it with a monster outing Sunday — 17 points, 15 boards, three assists, three steals, and three blocks in 42 minutes. Jakob Poeltl’s eventual return will cap the ceiling, but even if that happens soon, the Raptors’ four-game week keeps Murray-Boyles firmly on the deep-league radar. He’s a short-term hold with legitimate category juice.

Marcus Smart – G, Lakers

This isn’t a breakout profile — it’s a schedule play. Smart’s per-game numbers remain modest, but the role is stable and the minutes are real. He’s logging around 30 minutes a night, largely because the Lakers need his defense on the floor.

Over his last seven games, Smart has chipped in steals and threes without hurting you elsewhere. That’s exactly what you want when the volume spikes — and it does next week, with the Lakers playing five games, including favorable matchups against Sacramento and Charlotte.

If you need steals, threes, and minutes, this is the week to stream him confidently.

Jamal Shead – G, Raptors

Opportunity knocked, and Shead answered. Thrust into the starting lineup due to injuries, he responded with 22 points and six assists in Sunday’s overtime win over Philadelphia while playing 37 minutes.

His value moving forward hinges on availability. If Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett remain sidelined, Shead should continue to see starter-level minutes — and the production should follow. He’s not a long-term lock, but as long as the opportunity is there, he’s a strong short-term add in deeper leagues.

Rui Hachimura / Jake LaRavia – Lakers

Hachimura is back after missing time with a calf injury, but the Lakers may ease him in. Before getting hurt, he was playing 30 minutes a night, so the role will return — the question is timing.

Until the rotation fully stabilizes, Jake LaRavia remains worth holding in deep formats. If Hachimura is limited at all, LaRavia could squeeze out another useful start or two.

Moussa Cissé – C, Mavericks

Cissé flashed defensive upside over the weekend, posting 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in just 19 minutes. With Anthony Davis sidelined long-term and frontcourt minutes unsettled, there’s a path — albeit a narrow one — to increased run.

He’s not an add yet, but if Daniel Gafford continues to struggle or the rotation shifts, Cissé could become relevant quickly. Keep him on your radar.

Goga Bitadze – C, Magic

Bitadze made the most of his first start, dropping a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double with multiple defensive stats. The performance was loud — but context matters.

With Wendell Carter expected back and Moritz Wagner also in the mix, minutes will be hard to come by. For now, this is a classic wait-and-see situation. If Carter’s absence lingers, Bitadze becomes streamable.
