By the end of Week 15, the calendar flips to February — and that means the NBA trade deadline (Feb. 5) is officially looming. This is the window where sharp fantasy managers separate themselves.
Week 15 is especially important for teams fighting to stay in playoff position. Unlike the chaos that usually follows the deadline, availability should remain relatively stable this week, making it an ideal time to be aggressive on the waiver wire.
The schedule is balanced again, with every team playing at least three games. Chicago is the lone team with a five-game slate, while Dallas, San Antonio, and Toronto are all off until Wednesday. Sunday is the heaviest day with 10 games, setting up a strong finish to the week.
Let’s get into the deep league adds that can help swing matchups.
NBA Deep League Waiver Wire Adds
Malik Monk — G/F Kings
Monk is on an absolute heater and should not be sitting on waiver wires.
He poured in 19 points in just 22 minutes on Sunday and has now scored 16+ points in five straight games. Over that stretch, Monk is averaging 18.6 points, 3.8 threes, and 3.2 assists while operating as the engine of Sacramento’s second unit. Monk is definitely streaky though, so just pay attention, but for now, he is a must-add in all formats while this run continues.
Yves Missi — C, Pelicans
Missi quietly delivered one of the most well-rounded lines of the week with 10 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in 30 minutes Sunday vs the Spurs.
While his offensive usage has dipped with Derik Queen in the mix, this game was a reminder that Missi doesn’t need plays called for him to be fantasy relevant. Rebounds, defensive stats, and occasional double-doubles give him value as a category stabilizer.
Moses Moody — G/F, Warriors
After Jimmy Butler’s season-ending injury, Moody continues to capitalize on expanded opportunity
He finished Sunday with 19 points, eight boards, and five threes, extending his streak to seven straight games in double figures. Over that stretch, Moody is averaging 14.4 points, 3.7 threes, and 1.4 stocks in just over 25 minutes per game.
As long as Golden State’s rotation remains fluid, Moody is a reliable source of points and perimeter shooting with sneaky defensive upside.
Luguentz Dort — G/F, Thunder
With Oklahoma City still banged up in the backcourt, Dort remains firmly in play.
He logged 19 points, eight rebounds, four threes, and two steals in 36 minutes Sunday, finishing as the Thunder’s second-leading scorer. Over his last five games, Dort is averaging 2.4 threes and 31.8 minutes, making him a strong schedule-based streamer for managers chasing volume, threes, and defensive stats.
Jonas Valančiūnas — Nuggets
Valančiūnas returned from a calf injury earlier than expected and immediately made an impact, posting 16 points and nine rebounds in just 22 minutes.
Denver managed his workload in the second half of a back-to-back, but with Nikola Jokić still sidelined, Valančiūnas has a clear short-term role as the starting center. The Nuggets play only one back-to-back this week, meaning managers should get at least three usable games out of JoVal before Jokic returns.
Kevin Huerter — G/F, Bulls
Huerter continues to quietly produce off Chicago’s bench.
He rolled up a clean 12-6-3 line against Boston, including the game-winning three, and has now scored in double figures in six of his last eight games. With Tre Jones sidelined and the Bulls navigating backcourt injuries, Huerter’s minutes are trending safely above 20 per night.
He’s an underrated glue guy who contributes across categories, and if Chicago rests starters during their back-to-backs, Huerter’s role could expand even further.
