We aren’t in the business of excuses here, but sometimes you just can’t help it. Will Shipley might never have gotten to his prop play for rushing yards, but an injury didn’t help his cause. Carnell Tate fell victim to a non-existent Tennessee Titans passing offense, but Malik Nabers absolutely smashed. Heading into Week 6 of the NFL season, let’s take a look at some prop plays to target on FanDuel Sportsbook.

NFL Week 6 Prop Plays – FanDuel Sportsbook
Garrett Wilson Over 72.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Through the first five games of the season, the New England Patriots are allowing an average of 118 receiving yards to wide receivers. Based on his player prop, we are expecting Wilson to finish with more than half of that. Considering the state of the Jets’ depth chart, it’s not exactly a large leap to get there.
After Wilson, we are looking at Tim Patrick, Sterling Sheppard, and returner Isaiah Williams. So yes, things are pretty thin.
The Jets haven’t been shy about their need and intention to get Wilson more involved in the offense. After all, he is a large piece of their offense. In three of five weeks, including Week 4 and Week 5, Wilson has surpassed this week’s player prop. Wilson has 31 catches on 42 targets for 374 yards. New York also understands the need to have their stud receiver heavily involved. That means we can reap the benefits.
Jaylen Warren Over 90.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-113)
Warren has emerged as the lead back for the Steelers. Yes, Rico Dowdle is on the Injured List, but that doesn’t matter. Even when he returns, potentially this week, Warren is still the running back to target. After all, he deserves it.
In two of his last three gams, Warren has eclipsed his combined prop play just with his rushing production. Warren has broken the century mark twice as he continues to handle his extended workload and opportunity with ease. That meant games of 123, 93, and 101 rushing yards in his last three.
Then, we get to factor in what Warren’s doing as a receiver out of the backfield. It’s also important to note that the Steelers are hurting with D.K. Metcalf and Roman Wilson sidelined; it’s another opportunity for Warren to do some damage.
No, he’s not going to have an 80-yard touchdown once again, but he’s had a legitimate role in the passing game. While the 87-yard week was an outlier, his totals in the other four weeks were 27, 34, 49, and 33 yards. All that does is reduce what we need out of Warren in the run game.
So far this season, the Colts have allowed an average of 131 ground yards to running backs along with 35 receiving yards. Warren’s expected to dominate the snap count, and those markers put him well past his player prop.
Jameis Winston Over 218.5 Passing Yards (-114)
From the perspective of the New Orleans Saints, we are cutting things close. They allow an average of 228 passing yards per game as they face Winston in Week 6.
Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen the focus of the Giants offense lean more towards Winston and the air. Now that the Giants can game plan for Winston and weather isn’t an issue, he’s thrown for 250 and 326 yards. At this point, Nabers could account for the bulk of that himself, and that’s why we’re targeting the over on Winston’s passing yards.
