We’re officially heading into Week 7 of the NFL season, and dynasty values are becoming much clearer. Six weeks of action have given us a better understanding of which early-season surprises are turning into legitimate trends and which players may have simply started hot. Young players are carving out bigger roles, veterans are seeing their values shift, and disappointing performances are creating potential buy-low opportunities for dynasty managers.

That’s what our Dynasty Fantasy Football Market Changes series is all about. Each week, we break down players whose dynasty stock is moving in either direction and determine how managers should react. Is a breakout worth buying into before the price climbs even higher? Has a player’s value peaked enough to consider selling? Or has a slow start created the perfect opportunity to buy at a discount?
Heading into Week 7, we’re breaking down five players whose dynasty values are on the move and what fantasy managers should consider doing next as we approach the middle of the fantasy football season.
Dynasty Football Market Risers & Fallers: Week 7
Trending Upward
Matthew Golden | WR
Second-year receiver Matthew Golden has taken a significant step forward in the Packers’ offense this season. Golden is defying the odds for a speedster receiver when it comes to fantasy success. Historically, receivers who have run a sub-4.30 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine have struggled to produce top-24 fantasy seasons. Players like Xavier Worthy, Henry Ruggs, John Ross, and Rondale Moore all had elite speed but failed to turn it into consistent fantasy production. Golden is looking to change that narrative, as he currently leads the Packers in targets and has recorded four games with over 95 receiving yards, catching five or six passes in each contest.
He has a solid 24% target share and ranks inside the top 15 in both targets per route run (TPRR) and yards per route run (YPRR) this season. Without a strong running game, the Packers have been forced to lean more on their passing attack, similar to how they operated before Josh Jacobs arrived. If Jacobs returns, we could see a decrease in passing volume, but I don’t think that should change how dynasty managers view Golden. The Packers aren’t spreading the ball around as much as they have in previous seasons, with Golden, Christian Watson, and Tucker Kraft emerging as the primary options in the passing game. I’d look to buy into Golden now before his dynasty value climbs to a price that becomes too expensive to acquire.
Kyle Pitts | TE
Tight end Kyle Pitts has climbed his way back from the bottom over the last few weeks, ranking as the TE3 over his last three games while improving his production each week. Clearly, the return of Michael Penix Jr. has helped revive his fantasy value after things looked disappointing once again. Pitts has been a playmaker with the ball in his hands, ranking inside the top 20 in yards after the catch per reception. With no clear second receiver stepping up to challenge Pitts for targets, his opportunities have continued to grow, as he’s seen his target total increase each week since Penix returned to the offense. Pitts remains a hold in most dynasty leagues, but I wouldn’t be opposed to buying him at a reasonable price. He has a favorable schedule coming up, especially from Week 13 onward, which could help him maintain his recent production. If Pitts continues his current touchdown pace, he could find the end zone at least three more times this season.

Makai Lemon | WR
Makai Lemon has gotten off to a rough start to his rookie season, which can be traced back to missing time during training camp. Through six games, Lemon has yet to surpass 50 receiving yards in a game or score a touchdown. He had an opportunity to step up when the Eagles needed him most, with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert out of the lineup, but failed to make much of an impact. His advanced stats haven’t been impressive either, with low yards per route run (YPRR), limited yards after the catch, and a catch rate below 70%. Things could get even worse as the season progresses, with Jalen Hurts out for the season and the Eagles turning to Tanner McKee as their starting quarterback.
Lemon was once a top-seven pick in 2026 rookie drafts, but his dynasty value has taken a significant hit. This could be the perfect opportunity to buy low if you were a believer in Lemon’s talent coming out of college. I believe missing training camp has played a major role in his slow start. His low targets per route run (TPRR) are concerning, although he has seen a slight increase in opportunities with 6, 7, and 7 targets over his last three games. Dynasty fantasy football is all about knowing when to sell high and buy low, and Lemon looks like a potential buying opportunity. If you’re rebuilding, I’d look to acquire Lemon at his discounted price before he starts showing the talent that made him such a highly regarded rookie prospect.
Josh Downs | WR
Josh Downs has struggled to take another step forward in his development for dynasty managers. Downs ranks as the WR56 over his last three matchups and has been out-targeted by aging veterans Keenan Allen and Laquon Treadwell despite Alec Pierce being out of the lineup. Even with fewer targets, Downs hasn’t been efficient with his opportunities, posting low yards per route run (YPRR) and yards after the catch. Some of these struggles could be blamed on quarterback Daniel Jones, who has had his own issues this season, but the lack of opportunities for a player many expected to break out is concerning. Downs has always been a solid floor play in PPR formats, but he continues to lack the upside fantasy managers want from their receivers. At this point, you could hold until he puts together a big game to increase his trade value, but I’d be looking to sell. Players with limited upside are difficult to keep on dynasty rosters because you never know when to trust them in your starting lineup.
Cam Skattebo | RB
Cam Skattebo‘s zero-touch performance in Week 6 has many dynasty managers panicking about his future. Clearly, his fumble from a few weeks ago has landed him in John Harbaugh’s doghouse, as the head coach made a statement by giving the other running backs opportunities in last week’s game. Skattebo has struggled this season, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry, but let’s not forget that he’s coming off a major injury in 2025. He hasn’t shown the same physical running style we saw last season, with his 2.27 yards after contact per attempt (YACO) being decent at best. The Giants’ offensive line hasn’t helped much either, ranking 17th in PFF’s offensive line grades. Skattebo’s remaining strength of schedule doesn’t look promising, so we could see his dynasty value dip even further as the season progresses. However, the Giants have a bye in Week 9, which could give Skattebo an opportunity to work his way back into Harbaugh’s good graces. If you’re a contending team, I’d explore buying low on Skattebo, but I wouldn’t aggressively pursue him. There are also rumors that the Giants could look to trade for another running back, which is another concerning development for his dynasty outlook.
