It’s time to get creative with these trade targets this week. This time, we’re mixing it up with targets who are on bye weeks or are in bad offensive systems. There are still some gems even in bad offenses. Some players are dealing with injuries that could be beneficial to your roster if you can get them on your team. Targeting some of these players may be easier depending on the teams that they are on. Some managers may need to make moves to stay in the game. Always keep your eye on the rosters you’re trying to target for a trade. If you have more assets that they need, it makes making deals a lot easier. Let’s see what players we can target for Week 7.

Week 7 Fantasy Football Trade Targets
Jeremiyah Love, RB – ARI
The Cardinals had to put rookie running back Jeremiyah Love on the shelf as he tries to rebound from a high-ankle injury he suffered back during the preseason. Love will miss his second game in a row this season, which could make him available in a trade. With Love on the bench, a desperate fantasy manager could move him to stay in the playoff race. They may need a different running back to fill the void if they don’t have one. Love may not be cheap, but an injured player may not cost a high price in a trade. Send a strong offer if you have depth at the position. Love is averaging 10.2 fantasy points per game this season.
Ladd McConkey, WR – LAC
The Chargers are a mess right now, and their offense isn’t looking the greatest. But this is where you can get a player for cheaper than market price. There is some risk with McConkey right now because of his recent injuries, so consider that if you get into negotiations. But McConkey is still a WR1 on his roster. And if the Chargers do fire offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels, maybe the offense improves under Adam Gase? Who knows. But the opportunity is there to grab a cheap WR1 to hopefully bolster your roster. The bye week might do McConkey some good as he recovers from his injuries.
Quinshon Judkins, RB – CLE
Running backs are a premium right now with all the injuries at the position. Judkins is currently working his way back from an ankle injury that kept him out of Week 6. Now Judkins has been listed as “limited” at practice ahead of Week 7. If Judkins can keep this up, he should be available for Week 7. Judkins is the lead back for the Browns and is averaging 15.5 touches per game this season. Judkins still gives you a decent option at running back if you need one, even if he’s averaging three yards per carry. He’s getting just enough volume to make him a decent RB2-level running back.
Saquon Barkley, RB – PHI
Another player who is returning from injury with a low fantasy value heading into Week 7. Barkley missed a couple of games behind a hamstring injury but now looks to be a focal point in the Eagles’ offense for the rest of the season. The Eagles have lost Jalen Hurts for the rest of the season, and Tanner McKee will need all the help he can get. The Eagles could go back to leaning on the ground game for the rest of the season, allowing Barkley to benefit from increased volume and targets out of the backfield. Barkley is still a big name in the fantasy world, so don’t offer any slop when trying to get him in a trade.
Omarion Hampton, RB – LAC
This one hurts. Omarion Hampton was supposed to be one of the better running backs coming out of the fantasy draft this season. But Hampton has been reduced to being a cog in a running back committee that doesn’t need to be in place. The Chargers are 0-6, and the offense under Mike McDaniels is failing hard. The Chargers may be forced to move on McDaniels, and if that happens, it could unlock Hampton down the stretch. Hampton is averaging 3.6 yards per attempt and 9.6 fantasy points per game. Again, not sexy. Buy as low as you can get for Hampton and stash him on your bench. If the Chargers wise up and get Hampton going, you could be walking away with a great player that was left for dead by his own team.
Michael Wilson, WR – ARI
I have a few shares of Michael Wilson across some of my fantasy rosters, and honestly, I don’t want to move him. But if you can get him, you shouldn’t be opposed to it. With the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade in the books, Wilson is now the WR1 for the Cardinals. His production hasn’t been the same since Marvin Harrison left. Wilson’s last two games haven’t cracked double-digit fantasy points. But the one thing that is still going for him is that he’s still seeing consistent targets. The volume should continue to make Wilson a good target for fantasy managers looking to add another viable receiver if they need it.
Brenton Strange, TE – JAX
If you’re looking for a tight end to target via trade, Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange could be an option. Strange is currently on his bye week for Week 7 but Strange has been involved in the Jags offense over the last few weeks. Strange is averaging about seven targets a game over his last three games and 10.1 fantasy points per game over the first six weeks of the fantasy season. Another positive is that Strange will be past his bye when he returns in Week 8, so you’ll have him for the rest of the season in your lineup. Strange has been one of the better tight ends so far this season. Put your best foot forward when trying to trade for this guy.
