Week 6 is upon us! What better way to kick it off than to break into my Week 6 Fantasy Football Positional Rankings.
I’ll also talk about a couple matchups that should feature a lot of Fantasy production from some high-profile players.
Hit me up @FFProfessorST3 to talk to me about my rankings. Always open to answering your start/sit questions!
Falcons/Buccaneers
Julio Jones is playing the Buccaneers at home this week. You know what that means. In 2017 he exploded for 12 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns at home. In 2016 he had eight for 111 and a touchdown. You get the point. Julio is my WR1 this week and FINALLY touches paydirt.
Speaking of Falcons and Buccaneers, this one is going to be a doozy. Two high-powered offenses with abysmal defenses is kind of a theme in 2018. It is pretty great for Fantasy Football.
Jameis Winston is a waiver wire add this week and he is my QB5. He has too many playmakers. Mike Evan (my WR6) and Desean Jackson (My WR18) should also be effective in a game in which Winston could throw 50 times.
Patriots/Chiefs
Josh Gordon and Sammy Watkins will face each other on Sunday Night Football. They are the wide receivers who I moved up the most. Gordon is the consensus WR36 on FantasyPros.com. He is my WR14. After a few weeks of practice and proving that he can leap up and snag a ball between two defenders in the end zone, Tom Brady should trust the WR1 caliber receiver to make plays against the poor defense.
The Patriots have given up the seventh most touchdowns (11) in the NFL. Watkins and Tyreek Hill (my WR3) should be targeted often in Week 6. Both are fantastic playmakers who held their own against Jaguar’s defensive backs Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye.
Hill had four catches for 61 yards and two rushes for 26 yards in Week 5. Watkins had six receptions for 78 yards.
The Patriots defense will be a cakewalk for the All-Pro receiving combo.
