This past week was terrible for injuries with Derrick Henry being the notable one. My Week 9 DFS picks took me longer than usual as players’ salaries have skyrocketed. Matthew Stafford is no longer a bargain deal along with Eli Mitchell.
But lucky for you, I went through all the stress for you in picking the perfect lineup. If you want to be in the money this week, then you better check out these picks below.
Just as a reminder, DraftKings has a salary base of $50,000, and FanDuel has a base of $60,000. Now, let’s get into it.

Week 10 DFS Picks
Quarterbacks
Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (DK $6,000 FD $7,300)
This one might be a stretch since Matt Ryan has been a little inconsistent this season. But, if you look at his stats, he has only gone under 16 fantasy points twice this year. This week he has the Cowboys who are giving up over 20 fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Even with Ridley out, Ryan is showing why he is still an elite quarterback. Trust me this game will be a shootout.
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders (DK $6,000 FD $7,400)
Derek Carr had a terrible game last week. But, the Raiders are playing the Chiefs this week. The Chiefs are the second-worst fantasy defense against quarterbacks this season and Carr has had their number for the past few years. The Raiders always show up to play the Chiefs and this year Kansas City has looked terrible. Expect a bounce-back week and take advantage of his salary.
Other Value Pick: Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (DK $6,200 FD $7,400)
Running Backs
Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons (DK $6,600 FD $7,800)
Believe it or not, but Cordarrelle Patterson is the RB7 in half PPR this season. The fact his salary is so low against the Cowboys this week is beyond me. Since Week 1 he hasn’t scored under 14 fantasy points in PPR. He is the whole Falcons offense, so if you want a low-key workhorse Patterson is your guy.
James Conner, Arizona Cardinals (DK $6,300 FD $7,000)
Now that Chase Edmonds is out James Conner is the man in Arizona. Even before Edmonds went down had eight touchdowns before his three-touchdown game last week. Conner is a must-start in all leagues and will get the red zone touches easily. This week they have the Panthers who are better against running backs, but if DeAndre Hopkins misses another week, Conner will be the main offense yet again.
Other Value Pick: Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (DK $6,100 FD $7,400)
Wide Receivers
Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts (DK $6,300 FD $7,200)
Michael Pittman Jr. is here! Pittman has four touchdowns in his last three games. T.Y. Hilton has been off and on with injuries, but it is clear Pittman is Wentz’s favorite target. This week they have Jacksonville who is giving up almost 24 fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Start Pittman before his salary hits elite status.
Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens (DK $6,700 FD $8,000)
Marquise Brown might not sound elite but he has been more consistent than Stefon Diggs, Justin Jefferson and Terry McLaurin. Brown is the WR5 in PPR this year. This week they have the Dolphins and he has only scored under 19 fantasy points twice this season. You may be scared to draft him since Lamar Jackson is a run-first quarterback, but Brown gets his targets.
Hunter Renfrow, Los Vegas Raiders (DK $5,100 FD $6,000)
Hunter Renfrow saw his targets last week yet again. He is pretty much a WR2 this year for the Raiders. Besides Week 6 Renfrow hasn’t gone under six targets. Carr is looking for him and especially in the red zone. Darren Waller is his only competition, but Renfrow is a safe flex every week.
Other Value Pick: Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons (DK $5,000 FD $6,000)
Tight End
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers (DK $3,900 FD $5,100)
Pat Freiermuth is starting to look like that top-tier tight end this year. Chase Claypool suffered a toe injury on Monday that could leave him to miss some games. That leaves the door open for Freiermuth to do some damage.
Other Value Pick: Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins(DK $4,900 FD $6,200)
Defense
Buffalo Bills (DK $4,000 FD $5,000)
The Bills have the Jets this week. Do I need to say any more? They are a must-start and the players I listed above will leave you with enough money to snag the Bills. Don’t second guess, the Bills just lost to the Jaguars. They are about to go off from that loss.
Other Value Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (DK $3,500 FD $4,400)
