Best Tight End Fantasy Football Schedules for 2025

The final installment in the schedule analysis series is the one with the best tight end schedules. Tight end can be a tricky position to figure out. There is the elite tier and then everyone else, with varying weekly finishes. That is why identifying the best schedules is so essential; a slight edge could help win a week or a whole season. Below are three tight ends with some of the best fantasy schedules for 2025

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2025 season.

Best Fantasy Friendly Schedules for Tight Ends in 2025

Mason Taylor, New York Jets

It is becoming increasingly common to see rookie tight ends contribute in the NFL. In recent years, we have seen Brock Bowers and Sam Laporta take the league by storm. Now it could very well be Mason Taylor’s turn. Justin Fields needs a reliable target, and that is where Taylor comes into play. He will get the chance to prove that quickly with two matchups in the first week against defenses that were in the top ten in fantasy points allowed to the position. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not his only easy matchups throughout the season. Taylor will also get a mid-season stretch against the two defenses that gave up the most fantasy points to tight ends in 2024. Those matchups will come in weeks seven and eight against the Panthers and Bengals.

So not only will Mason Taylor have one of the best fantasy schedules for a tight end, but he is in an offense that likely needs to contribute immediately. And we have seen Justin Fields rely on the position heavily. In his last year with the Chicago Bears, Cole Kmet was second on the team with 90 targets. Taylor will likely start the season on the waiver wire, but keep an eye on his involvement early. He may be one of those good waiver wire pickups that stabilize the tight end position for rosters.

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

McBride is firmly in the elite tier, but his schedule might help propel him to a TE1 overall finish in 2025. His schedule to end the season may make him a player that you need to win leagues. McBride gets consecutive weeks against teams that were not good at defending the passing or guarding tight ends in 2024. McBride gets to see the previously mentioned Bengals during fantasy championship week.

If that isn’t enough, a shootout with the Atlanta Falcons is likely for week 16. McBride will also provide significant support to teams during the playoff push. From weeks 12 to 14, he will face the ninth, tenth, and fourth-worst teams against tight ends from 2024. Those teams in order are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Los Angeles Rams. It is an incredible schedule for one of the league’s best. And that is without mentioning his game against the Carolina Panthers in week two.

Trey McBride was second in PPR scoring for the position. And that was with only scoring three touchdowns, two receiving, two rushing. The sky is the limit if he starts scoring touchdowns. And he will get his opportunity yet again. McBride was third at the position with 21 targets inside the 20. He is due for positive regression, and with one of the best fantasy schedules, it should only assist him in finishing as the top tight end in fantasy scoring this year. Draft McBride with confidence this season at the end of the second round.

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

Last season saw Mark Andrews return to the upper echelon of fantasy tight ends. Now he has the perfect opportunity to repeat that with one of the best schedules. It helps that Andrews will get both of his matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals late in the season. It also helps that no other team in the AFC North besides the Baltimore Ravens finished above league average against the pass in 2024. While he benefits greatly from his division schedule, he will also have plus matchups against the Rams and Dolphins.

The only concern for Andrews is that his week 17 matchup is against Green Bay in the snow. However, if he can continue to be a significant red zone threat, he could still likely post a respectable score if the weather impacts the game. Andrews caught a career high 11 touchdowns in 2024, and while regression should be expected, he will still be a significant part of the passing offense with Zay Flowers. Target Andrews in the middle rounds if you are looking for a tight end with weekly high-end TE1 upside without having to spend a premium pick.

Conclusion

Tight end is the most volatile position in fantasy football. A touchdown will likely put a player very close to the top 10 at the position for the week. That is why it is important to target the best schedules, because some weeks you will have to play matchups if you do not have the elite guys. The schedule this season just shook out in a way where the top-tier players have some of the best schedules at the position. Take that into account when drafting this season to gain a leg up on the competition. It could be the secret to success in 2025.
