Best Tight End Schedules for 2026 Fantasy Football

The best fantasy schedules for tight ends are the ultimate tiebreaker. Just like for wide receivers, tight ends involve more factors. These include the coaching staff, offensive pecking order, and the quality of the defenses they face. And lucky for fantasy managers, the first tight end up grades out well in all three categories.

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune this season.

Best Fantasy Schedules for Tight Ends

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

Pitts has one of the best tight end schedules this season. That largely stems from his playoff schedule, the second-best in the league. He faces the Washington Commanders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints in that order. As we all know, Pitts performs best against Tampa Bay. Over the past four years, Pitts has racked up four top seven fantasy finishes against the Buccaneers. That includes his monster three-touchdown game in the fantasy playoffs last season. In that game, he totaled 45.6 fantasy points and single-handedly won managers their playoff matchups. Couple that with the fact that the Commanders gave up the second-most points to the position last year. And managers have a recipe for success. The Saints were tougher against the position, but Pitts still had a top ten week against them last year as well. They also lost their leader, Demario Davis, to the New York Jets.

Combine that easy playoff schedule with additional games against the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and, of course, another second game against the Buccaneers. Pitts has a reasonable path to repeating as a top-five fantasy tight end this year. That is without counting Kevin Stefanski, who is coming over from the Cleveland Browns. The team has been top six in targets to the position since Stefanski took the head coaching job there in 2020.

Pitts has a favorable scenario, an easy fantasy schedule for a tight end, and a coach who will look to get him the ball often. I have Pitts as my TE5 heading into the 2026 season, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he repeated as the second-highest scorer at the position.

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

Andrews losing his competition at the position with Isaiah Likely heading to the New York Giants is one major boost to his 2026 outlook. He also has one of the best fantasy schedules at tight end, which is the cherry on top.

It helps to play the Cincinnati Bengals twice a year. The Bengals gave up almost four fantasy points per game more than the Washington Commanders, who were in second place. (14.1 to 10.8) Andrews contributed little to that total last year. In his two games against the Bengals, he totaled 15.7 and 3.8 fantasy points. The good news is that Andrews will get the chance to rectify that in the fantasy championship. Additionally, it is a positive that he’ll also play the Steelers in a playoff matchup.

The downside is that those four matchups make up most of Andrews’ schedule. And while the rest of his schedule is closer to league average, that isn’t a bad thing. However, there are no other standout matchups out of division for Andrews. He is TE16 in my rankings, but someone managers will want on their team come playoff time.

Honorable Mentions

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have one of the best fantasy schedules for every position, including tight end. Their inter-division games against weak defenses put their easy schedule ahead of the pack. Add in games against the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, defenses that were bad against the position last year, and that is nearly half of their schedule with great matchups. The Eagles have one of the best fantasy schedules for tight end and every offensive position. So it makes sense to keep this short and sweet.

T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings

Hockenson’s playoff schedule is actually the best for the tight end position. Matchups include the Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, and the New York Jets. The question for Hockenson is how effective he will be this season. Hockenson finished as the TE28 last season. So it begs the question: was it his past injuries or just how bad the offense was? I believe it was a combination of both, but with the new quarterback and schedule, and at TE23 in ADP, I’m willing to find out on waivers if it was just the revolving door at quarterback.

Final Thoughts

Use the best fantasy schedules at tight end as a tiebreaker in these scenarios for drafting teams. Volume matters most at this position. And that is why the top guys separate themselves from the pack more than any other position. The best fantasy schedules for tight ends are only a small piece of the puzzle. However, it is still useful to know so managers can potentially grab someone like Hockenson or Andrews off waivers heading into the fantasy playoffs. And for that reason, strength of schedule will always matter, even if it is eighth or ninth in terms of importance.
