Conference Championship Weekend DraftKings NFL Prop Plays

There’s a lot to like about the Super Bowl. I mean, let’s get real, what’s not to like? It’s one of the best days of the year. It truly transcends football.

But if it’s football you’re after, this is your time. Conference championship Sunday is what it’s all about. Two games between the last four teams standing. Everything is on the line. What better way to enjoy things than by adding a few winning prop plays to your portfolio?

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax this season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.

Last week, we found success as our prop plays went 2-1. Now, let’s dig into our Conference Championship Weekend NFL Prop Plays on DraftKings.

Conference Championship Weekend NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)

Drake Maye Over 227.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Let’s go with strength against strength here. Teams don’t get to this point in the season without being pretty good at football. When it comes to Drake Maye, that’s certainly the case, as he was one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season.

Maye deserves a lot of the credit for New England getting to this point. He’s averaged 255 passing yards per game this year. It goes without saying that there’s a large gap between that and his prop play at 227.5 yards.

That’s for good reason, though, as the Denver Broncos have one of the best passing defenses in the league. So far this season, the Broncos rank seventh with 184 passing yards allowed per game. Postseason football is different, though, and last week, Josh Allen threw for 283 yards against Denver.

After throwing for 268 yards to begin the playoffs, Maye dropped down to 179 last week, but the weather was an issue. So far this season, Maye eclipsed his prop play in 14 of 19 games, so let’s make 15 on Sunday.

Rhamondre Stevenson Over 74.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards (-114)

It’s clear that Rhamondre Stevenson is going to be a large part of New England’s offense. Last week, we targeted Stevenson from just the receiving perspective, and it didn’t work. However, he made up for it on the ground.

New England is ranked fourth in total yards this season, and Stevenson has been a dependable source of that. While the reliance will be on Maye, the Patriots will also have to play things conservatively. That means a steady diet of dump-offs to Stevenson should be in order.

Over the past seven weeks, Stevenson has surpassed his prop play in each game. There’s no reason not to expect that to continue.

Puka Nacua Over 7.5 Receptions (-121)

When we get to this point in the season, you have to stick with those that brought you. Puka Nacua is one of the best receivers in the league, and this season he averaged eight catches per game.

The one thing that we can’t doubt is that Nacua is going to have a large role in Sunday’s game. Last week, Nacua only caught five passes, but he was targeted 10 times. That was a far cry from the two weeks prior in which Nacua had 10 catches each.

In the two games that the Rams faced Seattle earlier this year, Nacua had mixed results. After catching seven passes for 75 in the first matchup, Nacua went nuts and caught 12 passes for 225 yards. I’m not saying he’s going to repeat that performance, but it should be another good day for Nacua.
