🔥🔥🔥 Gameweek 2 Player Rankings: Hot List 🔥🔥🔥
These are Fantasy EPL Draft players that have risen in our rankings! These are potential free agents on good form or established players that you should be looking to trade in. Keep an eye on these players, and bring them into your Fantrax squad if you can!
Yerry Mina
Position: Defender
Team: Everton
Ownership: 34%
Next 5 Fixtures: WAT (H), AST (A), WOL (H), BOU (A), SHU (H)
What’s Changed?: There was a little bit of uncertainty as to whether Mina would be eligible to play having been charge with a betting breach, but those EPL Draft managers that didn’t take the gamble (pardon the pun) on Mina playing will be gutted with their decision. A solid showing and 15.25 Fantrax points from GW1 rank Mina as the 15th highest point-scoring defender on Fantrax. Looking at the fixtures, Everton have some excellent games coming up with potential cleanies everywhere. Also, check out the squad chaps, Mina is a guaranteed starter! With only 34% ownership, now is the time to snap him up!
John McGinn
Position: Midfielder
Team: Aston Villa
Ownership: 58%
Next 5 Fixtures: BOU (H), EVE (H), PAL (A), WHU (H), ARS (A)
What’s Changed?: A goal and 18.5 Fantrax points on his Premier League debut is not a bad start at all. The fifth highest-ranking midfielder on Fantrax has some excellent fixtures coming up and will be in prime form going into them. Whilst McGinn is categorised as a midfielder, he plays in an advanced attacking position for Aston Villa and will be certain to press for more attacking returns. A very worthwhile addition to any squad as a guaranteed starter!
Neal Maupay
Position: Forward
Team: Brighton
Ownership: 16%
Next 5 Fixtures: WHU (H), SOU (H), MAN C (A), BUR (H), NEW (A)
What’s Changed?: 12 Fantrax points and he only came on as a substitute; unbelievable scenes!! Maupay is Premier League quality, and despite starting his first game in the Premier League on the bench; don’t expect that to be the norm. We are very confident that Brighton will be starting Maupay in GW2 and with Glenn Murray not getting any younger we would expect Maupay to get a fair run in the side. This chap will bring home eight to twelve goals this season; a handy third or fourth choice forward!

❄️❄️❄️ Gameweek 2 Player Rankings: Cold List ❄️❄️❄️
These are Fantasy EPL players that have fallen in our rankings. This may be due to poor form, they have been dropped from the best eleven, they have suffered an injury, or received a suspension. It’s time to consider dropping these players from your squads!
Kurt Zouma
Position: Defender
Team: Chelsea
Ownership: 70%
Next 5 Fixtures: LEI (H), NOR (A), SHU (H), WOL (A), LIV (H)
What’s Changed?: Well, Chelsea started playing football and everybody realised that they cannot defend. Zouma was one of this summers pre-season favourites, with many EPL Draft managers picking up Zouma in their drafts. A dreadful start for Zouma in GW1 resulted in horror -6.75 score. With a couple of easy games on paper coming up its tempting to keep Zouma, and we wouldn’t blame you; but in Leicester, Norwich, Wolves, and of course Liverpool are all attacking sides. Chelsea looked short of confidence and lacked defensive structure against Manchester United, we can’t see Chelsea keeping cleanie for a while.
Recommendation: If Yerry Mina is available, drop Zouma for sure. But keep your eye on the return of Antonio Rudiger.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Position: Midfielder
Team: Arsenal
Ownership: 88%
Next 5 Fixtures: BUR (H), LIV (A), TOT (H), WAT (A), AST (H)
What’s Changed?: Pepe and Lacazette will be absolute shoe-in’s into this Arsenal side; that attacking trio with Aubameyang. There’s very little else we surely need to say to convince you to jump off Mkhitaryan, but if you need a little push reader, then perhaps his performance this weekend will help you make the move. A score of 1.5 points in GW1 and from now on a place on the Arsenal bench; come on chaps.
Recommendation: Get rid. Immediately.
Gerard Deulofeu
Position: Forward
Team: Watford
Ownership: 96%
Next 5 Fixtures: EVE (A), WHU (H), NEW (A), ARS (H), MAN C (A)
What’s Changed?: Subbed at half time in the 3-0 loss at home to Brighton in the opening gameweek is not the best of starts for Deulofeu owners. A niggling injury might have resurfaced during the game, amid reports that Deulofeu was a possible doubt for the opening game. But in all honesty, we just think Watford’s star man from last season was just a little ineffective. Some tough fixtures coming up, with last seasons fourth-best defence, Everton and 2018/19 champions Manchester City; we wouldn’t expect a great deal from Watford.
Recommendation: We’d stick with Deulofeu. He’s Watford’s most creative player going forwards and has a limited competition as we don’t expect Andre Gray to maintain his starting spot.
