Fantasy football drafts are fully underway, and nothing is more important than knowing who to draft in the later rounds. Below, I identify my top five late-round wide receivers to draft for 2026. These wideouts are all going in the seventh round or later, which means you can put more focus on RBs higher in your draft.
What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.
5 Late Round Wide Receivers To Draft in 2026 Fantasy Football
Stefon Diggs, Washington Commanders
Stefon Diggs is going around the seventh to ninth rounds, depending on double-flex leagues, but most have seen him going in the middle of the seventh round. Diggs is lined up to be the WR2 next to Terry McLaurin. The touchdowns were low last season, but Diggs showed he still has gas in the tank after suffering an ACL injury in 2024. Last season, he ended with 1,013 receiving yards on 85 receptions and four touchdowns. Last season, he finished as the 22nd receiver in receiving yards per game at 59.5. And he is still going in the seventh round.
Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
Brian Thomas Jr. was a huge bust last year, as he went in the second or third round last year. This year he is dropping down to the eighth or ninth round. I don’t see Thomas being a WR1 this year, but taking him in the eighth round is a steal. He could be a low-end WR2. It has been stated that Thomas and Trevor Lawrence have made exceptional progress in chemistry during training camp. If that is the case, then Thomas is a steal in the eighth.
Chris Godwin Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Chris Godwin Jr. showed sparks of his old self at the end of last season. Most of his season was riddled with injuries, but this looks to be the season he is fully healthy. Mike Evans is gone, and Emeka Egbuka is solid but also very inconsistent. So, that means Godwin is going to be the guy for Baker Mayfield. Godwin is going in the ninth round and has the upside of a WR2 for your lineup.
Denzel Boston, or KC Concepcion, Cleveland Browns
You can go with either of these wide receivers for the Browns. Denzel Boston is going undrafted in most leagues, and KC Concepcion is going in the last three rounds of drafts. Both have huge upside, but are hurt by their starting quarterback. Jerry Jeudy has shown his high points, and I would much rather take the risk on Boston or Concepcion. These are two guys you can take with the last pick of your draft and could end up being a high-end flex option.
De’Zhaun Stribling, San Francisco 49ers
De’Zhaun Stribling is jumping up in drafts now that Ricky Pearsall is out for the rest of the season. Stribling is going to be the WR3 on the 49ers behind Evans and Deebo Samuel Sr. However, in both preseason games, Stribling has led the team in receiving yards. He has yet to score a touchdown, but in his first game he caught seven passes for 63 yards, and in the second game he grabbed four for 46 yards. This is someone you can grab in the last three rounds of your draft as a stash and play.
