Bold Predictions for NFL Week 3

1. Dalton Schultz Goes For 100+ Receiving Yards

If you missed what Dalton Schultz did last week, go check the box score—he just dominated the Bengals for 12 catches and 140 yards on his way to finishing as the overall TE1 of the week.

With Nico Collins still out of the lineup due to a hamstring issue, C.J. Stroud has zeroed in on his veteran tight end as his go-to safety blanket. Back-to-back 100+ yard games are rare for the position, but considering the volume of targets headed his way right now, Schultz is in a GREAT spot to deliver another massive yardage total.

2. Mark Andrews Gets His First Touchdown This Year

It’s been a frustrating opening couple of weeks for anyone relying on Mark Andrews, but Week 3 shapes up as the ideal bounce-back spot—especially with Baltimore’s receiver room banged up.

Zay Flowers is dealing with a lingering hamstring problem that puts his status in jeopardy and threatens to limit his explosiveness even if he suits up. Without their primary perimeter playmaker operating at full speed, the Ravens will need to lean heavily on the middle of the field. Making this the week he finally punches one home for his first touchdown of the season.

3. Oronde Gadsden Finishes As A Top 5 TE

If you need a high-ceiling waiver wire add to swing your matchup, look towards Gadsden this week.

Oronde Gadsden is suddenly thrust into a huge window of opportunity following major injuries to the tight ends ahead of him. With those guys expected to miss extended time, Gadsden is locked in as the primary pass-catching option at the position. He has a very clear route to increased usage this week and looks to be primed for a breakout target share that could push him into the top tier of weekly tight end scorers.
