Hello, hello, DFS folks,
Grab your lineups, your picks, and your jokes!
We’re here to find plays, both hidden and bright,
In the Late Slate games this fine Sunday night.
I won’t tell you to play McCaffrey or Ja’Marr,
If you need that advice, maybe rethink your star.
We’re looking for edges, the sneaky, the small,
The players who score when your friends drop the ball.
So click and drag, make your swaps with delight,
These are the moves that can win you the night.
It’s not just about winning, it’s about doing it clever,
Beating the others… oh, maybe forever!

Week 6 NFL DFS Late Slate Picks
Quarterbacks
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
The Packers play the Bengals in Week 6. The Bengals have allowed multiple touchdowns in four straight games. Quarterbacks average 226 yards and 2 touchdowns per game against this Bengals’ defense. Love has multiple touchdowns in 3 out of the four games he has played this season. This should be a lay-up.

Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers get the Buccaneers in Week 6, and Tampa’s defense has been handing out fantasy points to quarterbacks like free samples at Costco, sixth-most in the league, to be exact. With Brock Purdy sidelined, Mac Jones steps in, and all he’s done this season is ball out. He’s topped 280 yards or thrown multiple touchdowns in every start, proving he doesn’t need perfect conditions to produce. This is a smash spot, plain and simple. It doesn’t matter who’s catching the passes Jones is dealing, and the Bucs might be his next victim.

Running Backs
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raider
The Raiders play the Titans in Week 6. The Titans give up the third most fantasy points to running backs. Which is good for Jeanty. After early-season struggles, Jeanty has had over 100 yards in each of the last two games. Look for the rookie to produce in the easiest match-up he has had all season.

Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
The Bengals’ defense has been a fantasy goldmine for everyone else. They’re giving up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs, and that’s great news for a rested and reloaded Josh Jacobs. Fresh off his best game of the season and a bye week to recharge, Jacobs walks into a dream matchup. Expect a heavy workload, plenty of red-zone touches, and the kind of game that makes fantasy managers feel like geniuses.

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans
Pollard has scored a touchdown in 2 of the last 3 games. In Week 6, the Titans play the Raiders. The Raiders give up the tenth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Raiders have allowed 7 touchdowns to running backs in the last 3 games. You see where I am going here. As dirty as playing Pollard might feel, it’s a good kind of dirty.

Wide Receivers
Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans
After four straight weeks of me poking Calvin Ridley with a stick and asking if he was still alive, he finally showed signs of life in Week 5. Ridley saw 10 targets, turning them into 5 catches for 131 yards: his best game of the season. Now he gets a Week 6 matchup with the Raiders, a defense that treats opposing wide receivers like they must be avoided at all times.

Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders
Tre Tucker is showing chemistry with Geno Smith, and the guy’s got legit speed to burn defenses. He already leads the Raiders with 4 touchdowns, and Week 6 brings a juicy matchup against a Titans defense that’s been generous to WRs. It just has the feel of Tucker producing again in Week 6.
$4,800 on DraftKings
$6,100 on FanDuel
Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
Doubs had a career day in Week 4: 8 targets, 6 catches, 58 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Week 5 was a bye, which gave the hype a chance to cool off, but Week 6 brings the Bengals, a defense that’s been generous to opposing WRs. Don’t expect another three-touchdown explosion like he had against the hapless Cowboys, but one score is very much in play. Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou.

Tight Ends
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
Tucker Kraft is quietly putting together a solid season. He leads the Packers in receptions (16) and receiving yards (225). In Week 6, he draws the dream matchup: the Bengals, who’ve been giving up fantasy points to tight ends like they’re handing out Halloween candy… the full-sized bars.

Jake Tonges, San Francisco 49ers
Over the last two games, Tonges has been a target magnet, seeing 16 looks and turning them into 10 receptions, 99 yards, and 2 touchdowns: one score in each outing. Over this stretch, he’s a top 10 tight end. With the 49ers’ usual skill-position stars apparently taking up permanent residence in the local orthopedic ward, Tonges has stepped in. Week 6 should give him another shot to rack up targets, catches, and maybe even a touchdown.

Defense
Green Bay Packers
The Packers face the Bengals in Week 6, and if you’ve been paying attention, you already know the rule: play the defense facing Cincinnati. The Bengals’ offense has been a mess since Joe Burrow went down, coughing up 50 fantasy points to opposing defenses over the last three games.
The Packers defense, meanwhile, is quietly solid and capable of generating pressure and forcing turnovers. This is one of those rare situations where the “start your defense against them” rule isn’t just a meme; it’s a legitimate weekly strategy.

Tennessee Titans
For four straight weeks, the defense facing the Raiders has hit double digits in fantasy points. That’s not a trend, that’s a lifestyle choice. The Raiders keep coughing up the ball like they’re allergic to possession, and defenses everywhere are sending thank-you cards.
This week, it’s the Titans’ turn. Expect a few sacks, probably an interception, and maybe even a defensive touchdown if the football gods feel generous. Betting against the Raiders’ offense is starting to feel like free money.
