Week 6 FanDuel NFL Player Props: Jeanty Runs Wild

The Houston Texans scored 44 points on Sunday, and Woody Marks only rushed for 24 yards. That is a situation in which it was simply the wrong read on the situation. It led to a 1-2 week, but heading into Week 6, we’re looking to turn that around. We have you covered with our Week 6 NFL Player Props utilizing FanDuel Sportsbook. Now, let’s get to work.

Week 6 NFL Player Props (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

What am I missing? Sometimes things are, unfortunately, too good to be true. The concern about this player prop is that this is the case. Despite that fear, though, I’m going to head right into the storm and target Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

To say that Smith-Njigba has been a legitimate star to begin the season has been an understatement. It took no time at all for Sam Darnold to establish chemistry with his number one receiver, and that’s been on full display. Through the first five weeks of the season, Smith-Njigba has 34 catches for 534 yards.

There have been just two weeks in which the receiver has failed to reach 100 yards. And in both of those weeks, Smith-Njigba has still surpassed 78.5 receiving yards. To be fair, in Week 4, he finished with 79 yards, but in the other week, he had 96 yards.

There’s nothing to suggest that Darnold and Smith-Njigba are going to dial back their connection or slow down their connection. When you then factor in Jacksonville’s struggles at defending the pass, it should be another successful week for Smith-Njigba. The Jaguars are allowing 250 yards per game, so it should be another successful week for the Seattle passing offense.

Ashton Jeanty Over 73.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Based on his domination at the college level and the talent he entered the league with, it’s hard not to expect a lot from Ashton Jeanty. But then, we are reminded how hard it is to adjust to life in the NFL. Over the past five games, Jeanty has been doing a good job of doing just that.

That leaves him with just one game in which he surpassed this week’s yardage prop, but he did so in a big way. In Week 4, Jeanty gained 138 yards on 21 carries in his coming-out party. Last week, Jeanty took a step back statistically as he finished with 67 yards on 14 carries. However, that was more a symptom of the blowout loss the Raiders suffered at the hands of the Colts.

We know that the Raiders are going to go back to relying heavily on Jeanty, as they will feed him the ball. This week, things should be easier for him as he faces a Tennessee Titans team that’s ranked 30th with 147 rushing yards allowed per game. Jeanty should soar past his player prop with ease as his way to his second 100-yard game.

Sam LaPorta Over 43.5 Receiving Yards

Strap in for what figures to be an exciting matchup between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. Offense will be in full supply on both sides of the field. And that means we can expect Sam LaPorta to have a solid game.

At 43.5 receiving yards, we aren’t expecting a whole lot here, and we know that LaPorta is capable of more. So far this season, LaPorta has hit that mark twice, but he’s also coming off his best game of the year. Last week, the tight end caught five passes for 92 yards and his first touchdown of the season. The thought process is that he takes that momentum into Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
