Thursday Night Football DFS Picks – Ravens vs. Dolphins

Do the Miami Dolphins have it in them for the second straight week? After they upset the Atlanta Falcons with a resounding effort last week, the Dolphins return home on a short week. The Baltimore Ravens come to town on Thursday, and it appears they are getting Lamar Jackson back. With an over/under of 50.5 points, an overabundance of offense is expected. Baltimore is favored by 7.5 points on the road, and there should be plenty of fantasy production. Now, it’s time to take a look at our Thursday Night Football DFS picks so you can set that winning lineup.

Thursday Night Football DFS Notes

Back with No Designation

We haven’t seen Lamar Jackson since Week 4, but the quarterback has been cleared to play tonight. He’s healthy and without an injury designation and seemingly without any restrictions.

The Miami Dolphins are ranked 23rd against opposing quarterbacks in DraftKings points allowed. There figures to be plenty of offense tonight, and the Ravens, led by Jackson, will be on the long side of it. We have to plan for Jackson to run as he picks back up where he left off with 166 rushing yards in four games.

Before the injury, Jackson had 10 touchdowns through four games, and he’s in a good situation tonight.

Through Achane Miami Goes

This is the perfect situation for De’Von Achane, with the Ravens ranking 29th in DK points allowed to running backs. Despite the struggles Miami has been having this season, Achane is still putting up 20 DK points per game.

Achane has seven touchdowns, 539 rushing yards, and 235 receiving yards on the season. With 37 catches through eight games, Achane has legitimate PPR value. This is a game that suits Achane perfectly from a DFS perspective.

Don’t Write Henry Off

By his standards, it’s a down season from Derrick Henry. He only has two games with more than 71 yards, but Henry still has seven touchdowns. Defense is going to be in short supply tonight as both teams have been struggling on that side of the ball.

A large part of the problem for Henry has been game flow. The Ravens spent more time than they are used to playing from behind this season, so that has had a negative impact on Henry’s workload. So, maybe it’s impressive then that Henry has 510 yards and six touchdowns.

Waddle Needs to Keep Up

Aside from Week 7, it’s been a solid season for Jaylen Waddle. Overall, he has 35 catches for 504 yards and four touchdowns. Big plays have been common for the efficient Waddle, who has been forced to step in for an injured Tyreek Hill.

Points will be flowing tonight, and Waddle is the main game in town for Miami.

Will the Flowers Be in Bloom?

For as much offense and as many points as we expect tonight, it might be tough for Zay Flowers. The fact that Miami is often trailing does change things somewhat, but they’re allowing the fewest DFS points to opposing receivers.

On paper, this should be a good spot for the Revens as Flowers has also suffered due to Baltimore’s early-season woes.
