Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 15

Week 15 of Fantasy Football has arrived (aka the Fantasy Football Playoffs), and I’ve highlighted my top waiver wire targets. These players are rostered in fewer than 55% of Fantrax leagues. To accommodate different league formats and roster sizes, I’ve provided plenty of options.

Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 15

Jaylen Wright (RB, Dolphins)

Jaylen Wright rushed 24 times for 107 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 for 16.5 Fantasy Points. De’Von Achane exited in the second quarter with a rib injury, but one of Wright’s touchdowns came before that. Wright out-touched rookie Ollie Gordon II (who also scored) 24 to five. If Achane misses any time with this rib injury, Wright could have major upside for Fantasy Football.

Devin Singletary (RB, Giants)

Before the Week 14 BYE for the Giants, Devin Singletary rushed 12 times for 68 yards and a touchdown with three receptions for 34 yards in Week 13 for 19.2 Fantasy Points. Tyrone Tracy Jr. suffered a hip injury that week, which we will need to monitor, as it could result in increased workhorse volume for Singletary if Tracy misses time. Singletary finished with 14 touches in Week 12 and 17 in Week 11, which shows he was earning work with Tracy healthy. Singletary scored two touchdowns on the ground back in Week 11 for 17.7 Fantasy Points as well.

Blake Corum (RB, Rams)

Blake Corum rushed 12 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns with a three-yard reception for 26.1 Fantasy Points. This comes after rushing seven times for 81 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 for 14.1 Fantasy Points. A brief Kyren Williams absence in Week 13 and game script in Week 14 have been the context for these performances, but at the same time, you have to credit the incredible upside on display. Corum is the best handcuff to roster for Fantasy Football with clear stand-alone potential.

Jayden Reed (WR, Packers)

Jayden Reed returned from injury in Week 14 to catch all four targets for 31 yards, and he rushed twice for another 22 yards. Reed opened up the season catching three balls for 45 yards and a touchdown, played just 7% of the snaps in Week 2, and would miss all of Weeks 3-13 due to multiple injuries. Reed instantly made an impact for Green Bay as a dynamic playmaker both through the air and on the ground, and I expect his role to grow as he gets healthier.

Luther Burden III (WR, Bears)

Luther Burden III caught three balls for 101 yards and a touchdown back in Week 3 for 19.8 Fantasy Points. The rookie has been rising the last four weeks, with at least five targets in each of those two games. With Rome Odunze out in Week 14, Burden caught four of his six targets for 67 yards. Rome has the chance to miss multiple weeks, so Burden’s rising role can be sticky the rest of the way as a late-season rookie riser.

Colston Loveland (TE, Bears)

Colston Loveland had his rookie season breakout game back in Week 9 when he caught six balls for 118 yards and two touchdowns for 29.8 Fantasy Points. In Week 12, Loveland caught four balls for 49 yards and a touchdown for 14.9 Fantasy Points. Then, in Week 14 with Rome Odunze out, Loveland finished with four receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown for 12.9 Fantasy Points. Flashes of target earning potential, yardage upside, and touchdown upside, even with Cole Kmet active. With Odunze potentially missing extended time, the vacated targets can benefit the rookie first-rounder.

Tyler Allgeier (RB, Falcons)

Tyler Allgeier has finished seven weeks with double-digit rushing attempts, three weeks with 51-76 rushing yards, has scored eight touchdowns, has scored double-digit Fantasy Points five times, and has scored 15+ Fantasy Points twice. Allgeier has stand-alone value at times, but is obviously one of the best handcuffs to stash behind Bijan Robinson.

Bam Knight (RB, Cardinals)

Since Week 6, Bam Knight has finished four weeks with 12+ Fantasy Points. Knight has produced five touchdowns, rushed for 57+ yards twice, and has finished four straight games with at least three catches. There is a chance Trey Benson does not get activated off the IR, which could mean Knight would operate as the RB1 the rest of the season.

Chimere Dike (WR, Titans)

Chimere Dike caught five of his eight targets in Week 14 for 24 yards and a touchdown for 13.4 Fantasy Points. In Week 12, Dike caught five of seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown with a special-teams touchdown as well. Dike produced 93 yards on seven catches in Week 8 and 70 yards and a touchdown on four catches in Week 7 as well. Dike has been an excellent special-teams contributor, and while it is hard to trust any Titan for Fantasy Football, we have seen plenty of flashes from the rookie.

Jayden Higgins (WR, Texans)

Although rookie Jayden Higgins did not have a big Week 14, he did finish second in targets, receptions, and receiving yards to Nico Collins. Higgins earned five targets in back-to-back weeks, but earned seven or more targets in four of the previous five games (Weeks 8-12). Higgins has finished with 55/65 receiving yards in two of his last four games, has scored four touchdowns this season, and has three weeks of 13+ Fantasy Points.

Kayshon Boutte (WR, Patriots)

Right before the Week 14 BYE, Kayshon Boutte caught four of his five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown for 13.5 Fantasy Points. Boutte has had several spike weeks this season, with scores of 16.3 (Week 1), 26.3 (Week 6), and 16.5 (Week 8) Fantasy Points. Boutte has displayed touchdown upside with six scores on the year, and that is with him missing two weeks. Boutte has also finished three games with 75+ yards and two with 93+ yards connected to Drake Maye.

Rashid Shaheed (WR, Seahawks)

It took five weeks in Seattle, but Rashid Shaheed finally showed some promise in Week 14. Shaheed caught four of his five targets for 67 yards and also scored a 100-yard kick return touchdown. Shaheed has historically been a splash FLEX play for Fantasy Football due to his downfield pass-catching. The hope here is that Week 14 is a trend for more FLEX-worthy weeks to come.

John Metchie III (WR, Jets)

John Metchie III has earned seven, eight, and eight targets across the last three weeks. Metchie produced 45 yards and a touchdown for 13.5 Fantasy Points in Week 11, then 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 for 18.5 Fantasy Points. While the Jets struggle, the target volume can at least result in some FLEX-worthy weeks for Fantasy Football. Even when Garrett Wilson returns to football.

Darren Waller (TE, Dolphins)

Darren Waller has earned just three targets in each of his last two games after returning from his pectoral injury, and he only caught a 13-yard pass in Week 14. Waller did finish with 47 yards on two catches (23.5 yards per catch) in Week 13, and we saw even more receiving upside back in Week 5 when he caught five balls for 78 yards. Waller scored four receiving touchdowns from Weeks 4-6, his first three games as a Dolphin. The upside is still there, and he can have better days ahead.

Isaiah Likely (TE, Ravens)

Isaiah Likely caught five of his six targets for 95 yards in Week 13 for 12.5 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 14, Likely caught four of his six targets for just 25 yards, but scored a touchdown (with another taken away) for 12.5 Fantasy Points again. Likely has been rising the last two weeks with signs of yardage and touchdown upside.

Brian Robinson Jr. (RB, 49ers)

Brian Robinson Jr. has finished with at least eight touches for the 49ers in four straight games. BRob has rushed for 40+ yards in three of his last five games, scored two touchdowns during this span, and also had two weeks of 11-ish Fantasy Points during this span. As a former starting running back who has Fantasy Football impacts, Robinson is simply a smart stash behind Christian McCaffrey.

Adonai Mitchell (WR, Jets)

Adonai Mitchell caught eight of his 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 for 24.2 Fantasy Points. This was an example of the upside AD can have. Since joining the Jets, Mitchell has earned six, seven, 12, and six targets. The production has been poor for Fantasy Football in three of these four weeks, but in deeper formats, he can be a dart-throw as an upside FLEX field-stretcher.

Jalen Coker (WR, Panthers)

Before the Panthers’ Week 14 BYE, Jalen Coker caught four of his six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown, which was 17.4 Fantasy Points. Coker finished with four receptions for 52 yards back in Week 11 as well. Coker missed the opening six games due to injury, but looks healthy now, and can continue to have FLEX value.

Devaughn Vele (WR, Saints)

Devaughn Vele caught three of his five targets in Week 14 for 40 yards, which is nothing spectacular, but he has been a big piece of this passing offense for three straight weeks now. In Week 13, he caught all eight targets for 93 yards and a touchdown (23.3 Fantasy Points), and in Week 12, he caught three of his seven targets for 37 yards. Solid target volume and a role that can mean more FLEX weeks.

Theo Johnson (TE, Giants)

Right before the Week 13 BYE, Theo Johnson earned eight targets but caught just three of them for 29 yards. The target total is a good note, though, because it emphasizes Johnson’s role in New York. Johnson has finished with 75+ receiving yards in two of his last four games. Johnson has also scored five touchdowns this year, has scored double-digit Fantasy Points six times, and has three weeks of 14.5-21.3 Fantasy Points.

Tyler Shough (QB, Saints)

Tyler Shough scored 18.98 Fantasy Points in Week 10, 17.36 Fantasy Points in Week 13, and 21.26 Fantasy Points in Week 14. During this span, Shough’s flashes include 282 passing yards in Week 10, two weeks of multiple passing touchdowns, and 55 rushing yards with a pair of rushing touchdowns in Week 14. The turnovers have been terrible (five interceptions and two fumbles), but there has been clear Fantasy Football upside on display.

Colby Parkinson (TE, Rams)

Colby Parkinson has scored a receiving touchdown in four of his last five games, which shows upside in that category connected to Matthew Stafford. During this span Parkinson has earned five targets in three of those games, produced 41 yards in two of them, scored 12+ Fantasy Points three times, and 14.1 Fantasy Points twice. Streaming tight end potential here in a great offense.

Ryan Flournoy (WR, Cowboys)

Ryan Flournoy caught nine of his 13 targets in Week 14 for 115 yards and a touchdown for 26.5 Fantasy Points. Flournoy finished with six catches for 114 yards back in Week 5, so we have seen this sort of upside before. Flournoy has now scored three touchdowns across the last five weeks. This is more of a deeper league add suggestion.

Mike Gesicki (TE, Bengals)

Mike Gesicki caught all six of his targets in Week 14 for 86 yards and a touchdown for 20.6 Fantasy Points. This is the second time across the last three weeks Gesicki has earned six targets, and with Joe Burrow back in solid form, there may be some upside in streaming Gesicki if need be.
