Week 11 is upon us, and that means that you have just one month to make the Fantasy Football Playoffs! If I had to guess, most managers reading this article are still fighting for their spot. Odds are even better that you need to find someone to play at QB this week. So let’s get on with it then, with our Week 11 Quarterback Sleepers and Streamers.

Week 10 recap
We had a wide range of outcomes in Week 10. Our sketchiest call turned out to be solid, while what I thought were our safest calls ended up being some of our worst all season.
Bo Nix started things off with a truly awful dud on Thursday night. The Raiders held him to just over 150 yards with a pair of picks. This matchup seemed prime on paper, but there seems to be no predictability with Nix this year.
Sam Darnold technically had another good game from an NFL standpoint. He disappointed fantasy managers, though, having to do next to nothing in a game where the Seahawks put up 44 points. Too bad you couldn’t start Dexter Lawrence at QB in the one.
Jordan Love was nearly nonexistent on Monday night. While it was a weird game with only 17 total points scored, it’s his second dud in a row. He has a decent matchup with the Giants in Week 11, so maybe he can have a nice rebound.
J.J. McCarthy, somehow, was our best performer of the week. He met our standards for a good call by the slimmest of margins. McCarthy was right at 15 fantasy points and the last spot in a top-half finish. He probably didn’t win you a week, but if you were in the unfortunate position of playing him, he didn’t lose it.
Current Season Tally: 25-17
Week 11 Quarterback Sleepers
Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals QB @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Flacco has been such a mainstay in this article this year that I’m not sure I can say anything new about him. I’ve never seen anyone be able to seemingly grow the chip on his shoulder while simultaneously being so adored, but somehow Joe does it. I don’t believe the “don’t care” persona he’s been given. I think he cares very much. Coming off of a personal best in yardage at his age, I think we are watching someone with something very specific he feels he needs to prove.
Suffice that to say, I think Flacco will be a QB1 anytime he’s a starter. I’m including when he’s a starter because of the recent news that the other Joe, Burrow that is, has been activated off of IR.
Burrow still isn’t expected to be back until after Thanksgiving. Odds are that means Flacco will be in place for the remainder of the Fantasy regular season.
So just know that you’re playing with house money, and if Flacco takes you to the post-season, he may not be there to lead you through it. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy the ride while you can.
Take it one week at a time. He gets a very beatable Steelers’ defense in Week 11. Start there.
Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears QB @ Minnesota Vikings
Williams isn’t exactly playing the best (or easiest to watch) football out there, but it’s working for Fantasy! While he’s only completed over 60% of his passes once since Week 3, he’s been finding other ways to score points.
He’s had three games this season with over 50 rushing yards; two of those games are the past two weeks. Caleb’s had five or more carries in six games already this season. He also has three rushing touchdowns on the year.
Williams has only thrown for multiple touchdowns three times this year, but he has only one game with under 200 yards.
So, while his play appears to be a bit erratic while you watch him, it’s actually been pretty consistent from a fantasy standpoint.
Caleb offers a decent floor, with one of the higher ceilings out there. Minnesota isn’t the defense we expected coming into the season, and their offense may have a hard time staying on the field. I trust Williams to keep his hot streak going here.
Week 11 Quarterback Streamers
Mac Jones/ Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers QB @ Arizona Cardinals
Well, let this be a first for me, just saying, go with whoever suits up. The vibes around Brock Purdy are weird. I understand the team doesn’t want to show their cards, but we’ve been hearing that he “could” return for months now. At this point, I’m just assuming it’s Mac out there. In the off chance that this is Purdy’s return, though, I do think the team has shown that they are waiting until he’s fully healed, so if he plays, you can trust him.
Jones, meanwhile, has continued to play well and will be a fun offseason topic when pundits argue if he’s better than we thought, or if it really does boil down to the team’s “system.”
Mac has three straight games with multiple TD passes. He also just had his third game this season with over 300 yards. While neither game was a win, he completed over 86% of his passes in Week 10 and 79% in Week 9.
The 49ers are also getting healthier. Jauan Jennings seems to be past his main ailments. George Kittle looked like his old self this past week as well. There’s also this guy named CMC that Mac gets to target relentlessly, who has remained his healthiest in years this season.
The Cardinals just gave up 44 points to the Seahawks. Albeit, only 30 of those were from the offense, but San Francisco should have no problem scoring against them. Whoever gets the nod should be very valuable.
C.J. Stroud/Davis Mills, Houston Texans QB @ Tennessee Titans
That’s right, I’ doubling up this week on the team QB calls. Whoever the Texans have at Quarterback this week, I would play them. While I would expect Stroud to be back from concussion for this one, we’ve seen players take weeks to get cleared before. If Mills has to start, that’s fine.
Mills is one of the more experienced backups out there, and was never outright terrible as a starter in his own right. He’s obviously not good enough to have a team built around him, but the Texans have kept him around this long because he is a competent NFL quarterback.
In the grand scheme of things, I don’t actually see the two as being that different. Both are pocket passers who don’t pose much of a threat on the ground. The Titans will try to pressure either, and with Houston’s offensive line, they might even be successful once or twice. Expect quick throws regardless of who’s out there.
Against the Titans defense, in a divisional game, either QB should be able to lead successful scoring drives. The Texans defense will give their offense plenty of time and opportunities to do so.
Now, despite all that, Stroud does offer much more upside if he plays. If you have to put a claim in on one, I assume Stroud will be out there, and he’s the only one worth putting a claim in for. Don’t expect anyone else to be clamoring for Mills if Stroud sits, but let that be your own insurance policy.
