I went 2-1 in my player props article last week, bringing my early-season record to 5-4. That is not ideal, but profit is profit. Hopefully things will continue to improve this week. I am focusing on several favorable passing game matchups in the player prop market this week. You can also explore these angles for fantasy and DFS if you are not a betting enthusiast. Either way, here are some of my favorite Week 4 NFL player props.

Week 4 NFL Player Props
Chris Bell, Miami Dolphins: 30+ Receiving Yards (-125, BetRivers/Bally’s)
The Miami Dolphins have lost all three of their games by at least 14 points and are double-digit underdogs once again in Week 4. They also lost their best player, De’Von Achane, to a torn ACL last week. On the bright side, Miami has some intriguing young receivers on their roster. One of them is rookie Chris Bell. Bell saw increased opportunities last week with fellow rookie Caleb Douglas sidelined. He caught four of eight targets for 67 yards and could have done even more. Douglas has yet to practice this week, and I am not expecting him to play. Bell should be one of Miami’s featured pass catchers in a game they figure to trail throughout against the Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota is 3-0 and enters this game with the third-best EPA (expected points added) against the run. No running back that they have faced has recorded as many as 50 rushing yards against Minnesota. They are also fifth against the pass in terms of EPA, but added volume has led to wide receivers putting up solid numbers against them. Nine wide receivers have been targeted at least four times in a game versus the Vikings this year. Seven of those have registered 30 or more receiving yards, with six finishing with at least 40 yards. Bell should clear a 30-yard bar with relative ease, especially if Douglas is out on Sunday. If you don’t have access to BetRivers and/or Bally’s Sportsbook, most popular books have this prop priced around -140. I am comfortable playing this up to -150.
Darren Waller, Carolina Panthers: 25+ Receiving Yards (-132, FanDuel)
My next prop is Darren Waller finishing Sunday night’s game with at least 25 receiving yards in an elite matchup against the Detroit Lions. Opposing tight ends are gashing the Lions left and right this season. They are last in the league by a wide margin in both fantasy points allowed and expected fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Detroit has permitted multiple tight ends to score touchdowns against them in each of their first three games. Five of the six have also recorded at least 30 receiving yards. One of those players was Jeremy Ruckert, who set career highs in receptions and yards last week while scoring his second career touchdown in five NFL seasons.
Even at 34 years old, Waller remains a considerable receiving threat. He has at least 28 receiving yards in each of Carolina’s first three games. Waller led the Panthers with five receptions and eight targets last week and enters Week 4 third on the team in both categories. Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker should be heavily involved in Carolina’s offensive attack, but Waller will have a role. I don’t mind if you want to go a little higher on Waller’s receiving-yardage props. The books have him at plus-money to record at least 30 yards, for example. However, I do think his ceiling is capped a bit with McMillan and Coker in the fold. That said, 25 yards is a reasonable bar in what should be a Sunday night shootout. Darren Waller’s receiving yardage prop is one of my favorite Week 4 NFL player props.
Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints: OVER 33.5 Passing Attempts (-121, BetRivers/Bally’s)
My final prop is for Saints quarterback Tyler Shough to attempt at least 34 passes against the Atlanta Falcons. Shough has cleared this number in all three games so far this season, and a Monday night matchup doesn’t feel like the time or place for that trend to reverse.
The Saints lead the NFL in pace of play through three weeks. They also rank sixth in both neutral pass rate and pass rate over expectation. New Orleans just lost their starting running back after placing Travis Etienne Jr. on Injured Reserve. Their remaining running backs (Alvin Kamara, Kendre Miller, and CJ Donaldson) have combined to rush for just 106 yards on 35 carries this year. The Saints now host a Falcons defense that has been arguably the biggest pass-funnel defense so far in 2026.
Opposing quarterbacks have attempted 130 passes against Atlanta through three weeks. And while passing attempts are often dictated by game script, that has not necessarily been the case for the Falcons. Atlanta never held more than a four-point lead in its first two games, yet Aaron Rodgers and Bryce Young each went over this number against them. Carolina’s offensive game plan was most telling. They defeated the Falcons 34-3 and led by at least 10 points for the final three quarters. Young still attempted 36 passes while the Panthers ran the ball just 22 times. The Falcons lead the NFL in EPA against the run, and teams have simply decided to throw it against them instead. Given New Orleans’ offensive tendencies and the injury to Etienne, I see no reason for them to deviate from that strategy on Monday night.
If you want a little more bang for your buck, BetRivers and Bally’s are offering 35+ pass attempts at +108. Fanatics also has 36+ pass attempts at +115. While those make sense, I want to point out that Shough threw exactly 34 passes in Week 2. Because of that, my official lean is for Shough to finish with more than 33.5 passing attempts.
