Wide Receiver and Tight Ends Starts and Sits

Wide Receiver Starts

Jameson Williams @ Baltimore Ravens

Jameson Williams finished as the WR7 in Week 2. He had just two receptions, but had over 100 yards and a touchdown. In Week 3, he faces the Baltimore Ravens, who have not looked like the Ravens of the past in terms of their defense. The Ravens are allowing over 37 fantasy PPG to the position, and Williams is the deep threat for the Lions. This game has a 52.5 point total, the highest amongst all games in Week 3. Expect Williams to have big plays and find the endzone this upcoming week, making him one of the most intriguing starts at the position.

Wan’Dale Robinson vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Wan’Dale Robinson has expanded his route tree. He finished as the WR5 in Week 2 and had 28.2 fantasy points. Now, he faces the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are allowing 39.95 fantasy PPG to the position, the eighth most through two weeks. With the Chiefs being 0-2, I expect them to be all over the Giants, and with that being said, it will have Russell Wilson throwing the ball a ton. Robinson is a fantastic choice to be in your lineup after a career game last week.

Wide Receiver Sits

Tee Higgins @ Minnesota Vikings

Joe Burrow is going to miss the majority of the season after toe surgery. Higgins was already not playing well. He is the WR39 on a PPG basis. When Jake Browning replaced Burrow, he was hyper-focused on getting Ja’Marr Chase the ball. Higgins cannot be trusted going forward and needs to be left on the bench with the news of Burrow being out. Higgins should be the consensus favorite as the most sat player in Week 3.

Ladd McConkey vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Ladd McConkey was drafted as a WR1 in 2025 fantasy football drafts. He has finished as the WR24 and the WR47 in his first two games. The return of Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston playing well has hindered McConkey. Also, he will be covered by the best defender in football, Patrick Surtain II. Yes, you drafted him in the second or third round, but he cannot be trusted moving forward. McConkey is my most confident pick amongst all my sits this weekend.

Tight End Starts

Juwan Johnson @ Seattle Seahawks

The New Orleans Saints are one of the most pass-friendly teams in 2025. Spencer Rattler has thrown it 80 times in two games. That is the fourth most, so far. Juwan Johnson has been the primary beneficiary of that. Johnson is the TE2 overall, behind Tucker Kraft. He was a must-add after Week 1 and should be a lineup lock moving forward. In Week 3, Johnson faces the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are allowing the most fantasy PPG to the position, and Johnson is the leading pass catcher for the Saints. He is one of the better starts this week and should be a priority trade target for the managers who lost George Kittle.

Kyle Pitts @ Carolina Panthers

Kyle Pitts is the TE11 through two games. All in all, Michael Penix was correct when he stated he would get Pitts the ball more. Pitts now faces the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are allowing the third most fantasy PPG to the position and have been defending WRs well. Kyle Pitts’ top-five finish is on the horizon and should be in lineups this weekend.

Tight End Sits

Zach Ertz vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Zach Ertz has been the product of having a touchdown in both games this season. Now, Jayden Daniels is dealing with a knee injury, and he faces the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are allowing the fifth fewest fantasy PPG to the position and have not given up a touchdown. Do not fall for the trap and keep Ertz on your bench for Week 3.

Tucker Kraft @ Cleveland Browns

Yes, this looks insane. Tucker Kraft is the TE1 overall in total points and PPG, but he faces the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are allowing the seventh fewest fantasy PPG to the position and just 42 receiving yards total in the first two games. This will be a defensive game, and Jordan Love will rely on Josh Jacobs and his wide receivers to get the Green Bay Packers to 3-0.
