The fantasy football season is upon us, and that only means you need to get prepping for your drafts. Good for you; the Fantrax team has you covered with our consensus rankings for Quarterbacks.
Quarterbacks are an interesting position. You might be the person to not draft a quarterback and stream, or you might be the person in the league who stacks three of them on your roster. Whatever your position, we have you covered with elite rankings down below.
What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.
Quarterback Rankings Notes:
One player we all agreed will be the overall QB1 is Josh Allen. Not much to say here, since 2020 Allen has finished either as QB1 or QB2. And in those six seasons, he finished QB1 four times. We don’t see much of a difference this year for him and if you want to take him in the second round you know what your are going to get.
Drake Maye lands as our QB3; however, I have Maye ranked as my QB7. The Patriots did get better with adding A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs. But the Patriots are faced with a tough schedule this year. They have Seattle, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Chicago and Kansas City all on the road. While they also have to play Denver, Detroit and Green Bay at home. Not to say Maye will be a total bust, but I don’t see him as a QB3 this year.
Lastly, if we can throw you one sleeper, it is Kyler Murray. Though Ray Kuhn doesn’t agree, the rest of us all have Murray inside our top-20. Murray has a chance to reidentify himself in Minnesota. He has Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Juan Jennings. Though he doesn’t have a top-tier running back, that just means Murray can run it himself. He is a low-risk, high-reward player, as you can draft him as a backup in the 10th or 11th round.
